Obama’s irritating shtick: No one operates in good faith except him
So here is what is utterly remarkable: President Obama has been using the days and weeks leading up to his inauguration to show the depth of his disdain for the leaders of the other major party and, by inference, that party’s voters, which is to say more or less half the country. He has been spending his time alienating instead of summoning. It has left the political air more sour and estranged.
As a presidential style this is something strange and new. That has to be said again: It is new, and does not augur well.
What was remarkable about the president’s news conference Monday is that he didn’t seem to think he had to mask his partisan rancor or be large-spirited. He bristled with unashamed hostility for Republicans on the Hill. They are holding the economy “ransom,” they are using the threat of “crashing the American economy” as “leverage,” some are “absolutist” while others are “consumed with partisan brinkmanship.” They are holding “a gun at the head of the American people.” And what is “motivating and propelling” them is not a desire for debt reduction, as they claim. They are “suspicious about government’s commitment . . . to make sure that seniors have decent health care as they get older. They have suspicions about Social Security. They have suspicions about whether government should make sure that kids in poverty are getting enough to eat, or whether we should be spending money on medical research.”

100% of Obamas rhetoric is vapid and logical fallacy. Why people are impressed with him is beyond comprehension.

Hummm…Didn’t Peggy do a Lewinsky Dear Leader during the campaign?
Dingbat63 on January 19, 2013 at 8:15 PM
And yet she voted for this jackass.

I wonder where he caught that irritating shtick you drip.

In fairness, she was only taken in by him in 2008. He didn’t fool her twice in 2012.

Peggy is just discoving this? It has been his shtick since he was just a wee little community organizer.

Why does HA print her 2 faced cr@p at all anymore? Her street cred is shot.
bernzright777 on January 19, 2013 at 8:25 PM
That is actually a myth. The afternoon of the election, Noonan posted to her blog that she had actually voted for McCain.
In New York State, it didn’t matter, so she kept her Republican bona fides intact in that regard.

Hey, he “won”… again. It doesn’t matter what the other half of the country thinks.
If you need to see a sarcasm tag after this post then you shouldn’t be here.

Transparent projection. Barky’s never done anything in good faith in his whole pathetic, destructive life. He’s dishonest, nasty, and stupid – with an attitude, to boot. It’s amazing that someone so dumb would be this way, as it’s clear that Barky has the brain power of an amoeba … but this is the sort of insanity that affirmative action has wrought; a guy with the mathematical sophistication of a slow 8th grader who loves to lecture people about “math”. It would be hysterically funny if this America-hating Dog-Eater didn’t have the power to take this nation apart.
And the GOP and most “conservatives” are too cowardly to even tell the truth about the treasonous, anti-Western imbecile. They treat him with respect that he’s never earned (far from it) and ignore what a nasty, lying pr!ck he is, with a room temperature IQ. It’s just amazing to watch these fools cave to this sorry excuse for a human, just so they aren’t called, “raaacists!”, which they are, anyway, as Barky has very few quivers in his bag.
And this Peggy Noonan dipsh!t is one of the people who are the problem. What she did in 2008 – unable to recognize what a backward idiot Barky is – was unforgivable and said more about her own stupidity than anything else.

“I thought, for the first time in a while, that the Republicans are finally getting a break.”
The real problem being that the ‘pubbies need breaks. They can’t do squat on their own.

Little slow on the uptake, eh Pegs?

Recall that there once was a leader of a Socialist Worker’s Party in Germany that had the same trait but whose name escapes me now….

Yep. A Jupiter-sized ego has transformative powers, apparently.

No, it’s not new. He’s been doing it the last 4 years.

She’s wrong. Obama most assuredly did not get750′s on his SATs.
Alana on January 20, 2013 at 1:22 AM
Maybe 750 combined…..
Dreadnought on January 20, 2013 at 1:28 AM
I always figured Barky for a 920, tops … on a good day. There’s absolutely no way that he cracked 420 on the math section. That’s for sure. And you can tell by his extemporaneous speaking and his writing that he didn’t score north of 500 on his verbal.
ThePrimordialOrderedPair on January 20, 2013 at 1:35 AM
His gun-control recommendations themselves seemed, on balance, reasonable and moderate. I don’t remember that the Second Amendment died when Bill Clinton banned assault rifles; it seemed to thrive, and good, too. That ban shouldn’t have been allowed to expire in 2004.
Go away, Peggy.
