Poll: Public lowering their second-term expectations for Obama
Yet looking ahead to Obama’s next four years in office, Americans have tempered their expectations.
The public is split how Obama will fare in a second term, with a majority of respondents — 51 percent — saying they’re either “optimistic” or “satisfied.”
By comparison, a combined 48 percent say they are “uncertain” or “pessimistic.”
Asked another way, 43 percent are optimistic about the next four years, while 35 percent are pessimistic; 22 percent have a mixed opinion.

So people are “satisfied” with a real unemployment rate of around 16% and record-shattering numbers of people on food stamps?
Sad.

51% of people are satisfied with fascism and the massive corruption that goes with it??
Every move by Obama and the democrats has been to expand government and their control over us.

So he isn;t going to pay my light bill and my mortgage?
Does the imbecilic electorate’s expectations have any basis in reality?

Mine could not get any lower. What sucks is that He hasn’t even started His second term yet and look at what’s happening. Loooong 4 years ahead.

What do you think high school dropouts expectations of Obama’s Presidency were?
tom daschle concerned on January 18, 2013 at 8:05 AM
Gee, I’m shocked. Didn’t the country also split along those lines in the election? 51% voted for 4 more years of this crap while 48% voted for change(the real kind).
Like I said in another thread yesterday, if 3/4 of Americans seeing their paychecks reduced isn’t enough to wake them from their stupor, nothing short of a total economic collapse will be.

Obama is basically counting on this: people becoming complacent with the new norm.
People are sheep. If you don’t dangle anything in front of them that’s truly better than what they have, they will find reasons to love the misery they are in.
LEt me give you an example:
Our herd of cows.
We breed for good mothering instincts & docile behavior.
There only comes one or 2 cows that are never satisfied with what they have.
So they go & find it for themselves.
They are the fence jumpers, trying to find the best grass.
If allowed to do this for long enough, those cows will influence formerly docile satisfied cows to jump the fence as well.
Before you know it, the neighbors are always calling that your cows are out, even when you’re feeding them the best hay you have, or have put them in a pasture with the best tasting forage ever.
So you know what we do with those fence jumpers?
They go to the sale barn & get passed along through the food chain.
Obama is driving this herd that’s the American people & he’s seeking to isolate the fence jumpers to keep the herd docile.
Don’t fall for it.

Lowered Expectations.

That’s not what you hear on the news. What you hear is unemployment at 7.8%. You hear about how the economy is getting better, when it’s clearly not. Just yesterday I heard about many american cities are turning the corner, and that silicon valley’s back. In reality, it’s just about software. They should rename the place software valley, because the silicon’s gone off to china.
