Holder begs court to stop document release on Fast & Furious
Attorney General Eric Holder and his Department of Justice have asked a federal court to indefinitely delay a lawsuit brought by watchdog group Judicial Watch. The lawsuit seeks the enforcement of open records requests relating to Operation Fast and Furious, as required by law.
Judicial Watch had filed, on June 22, 2012, a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request seeking all documents relating to Operation Fast and Furious and “specifically [a]ll records subject to the claim of executive privilege invoked by President Barack Obama on or about June 20, 2012.”
The administration has refused to comply with Judicial Watch’s FOIA request, and in mid-September the group filed a lawsuit challenging Holder’s denial. That lawsuit remains ongoing but within the past week President Barack Obama’s administration filed what’s called a “motion to stay” the suit. Such a motion is something that if granted would delay the lawsuit indefinitely.

Criminals usually don’t like evidence of their crimes being released.

Most transparent administration ever.

I figure they should be able to get most of it. National security isn’t really an issue here no matter someone in the administration would argue. They’ll be on trickier ground getting documents relating to executive privilege. But what do I know? I’m not a lawyer.

I guess sleazy Eric Holder dislikes his being shown to be an accessory to mass murder being made obvious?

Crazy wingnutz…The Obama Administration already investigated and cleared itself of any wrongdoing. Barking up the wrong tree!

Just as Obama and Dems are about to demonize conservatives for standing by the Second Amendment, the last thing they need is evidence proving that Obama, et al. flagrantly violated gun laws with which no one has an objection.
C’mon, judge, help Issa & Co. pull back the curtain on these hyperbolic hypocrites.
With the upcoming battle on guns, I can think of few things that would destroy their credibility more.
It’s better than Gore selling out to AJA.

Holder belongs in an orange jumpsuit.

Executive order trumps civil law. Besides, Holder is the justice Czar and what he deems to be “just” most certainly is. Right?

Holder’s lawless, corrupt DoJ belongs in Mexico, or some third world banana republic, not here.

At least until they can round up enough kids to make videos stating their opposition to guns…oh, wait.

AG Hold ‘Em can’t have any informatoin about Fast and Furious coming out that exposes the hypocrisy of his office and Obamasite. I mean, how would it look, to have the truth come out and destroy their efforts on “gun control”? But then again the voters that kept these clowns in office don’t care about hypocrisy.
