Fox News’s newest contributor: Dennis Kucinich
Dennis Kucinich’s unlikely next act will be as a paid Fox News contributor, but he says it’s “almost silly” to think that he’ll be a kind of token.
“I’m way past that in my life and career,” Kucinich said in a phone interview with BuzzFeed on Wednesday. “That’s almost silly.”

Sci-fi news?

I actually like Kucinich more than other Democrats. “Like” might be too strong a word, but he’s a kook and proud of it. Take it or leave it. He doesn’t constantly lie and demagogue everything.

Dennis will have the only barber chair in the studio, and his bodily orifices will be sealed in case a UFO lands nearby and he is abducted for alien experimentation.
Bishop on January 16, 2013 at 6:16 PM
So they got rid of Beck because he was too whacky and they take on DK?
Fox is going downhill in quality.
CorporatePiggy on January 16, 2013 at 6:16 PM
I’m getting sick of the libtards on Fox who go on shows like Hannity and don’t even TRY to make a point, but just shrilly filibuster over the conversation to defend Dear Emperor.
wildcat72 on January 16, 2013 at 6:17 PM
Will his wife appear with him ?
burrata on January 16, 2013 at 6:17 PM
Is there room for Dennis? … Geraldo and Shemp Smith count as the two FoxNews drama queens and three’s a crowd.
viking01 on January 16, 2013 at 6:19 PM
I understand that he is going to be a “special reports” guy.

Yes. She will have Dennis on one arm, her other hand behind him, and when he talks you can just barely see her lips move.
Bishop on January 16, 2013 at 6:24 PM
It’s a good thing I stopped watching FOX a few years ago .
burrata on January 16, 2013 at 6:28 PM
Dennis really gets around these days. I saw him the other day when I was picking up a bean burrito from the Taco Bell at Silo 23 in Area 51. He was making out with an alien (a grey).
Respect.
CorporatePiggy on January 16, 2013 at 6:30 PM
wake up people. fox is in the tank for obama. only slightly less so than the networks.
that how they get you. in small degrees. center left fox is now far right wing.
we can agree on that, right? fox is center left. simon, simon.
renalin on January 16, 2013 at 6:30 PM
simon is slang for yes. but then i remembered a show back in 1981 call simon and simon. two white guys and tim reid.

^ Damn wrong thread.

This is no small thing. We shouldn’t sell the idea short. I think Fox News should announce this hiring from Little Rock to the Little Big Horn Mountains. There is no minimizing the importance of the move. With Kucinich on hand, Fox News will dwarf its competion.
radjah shelduck on January 16, 2013 at 6:39 PM
Alan Colmes is officially worried.
meci on January 16, 2013 at 6:46 PM
Bet he sets the place on FIRE!!!…
Gohawgs on January 16, 2013 at 6:47 PM
I am glad, he is lot more honest than the rest of the slimes.
rob verdi on January 16, 2013 at 6:50 PM
Me too. He’s a lot more interesting than most of his comrades. First, he doesn’t reek of bitterness and vitriol as so many of them do. Second, he’s more intellectually honest than most of his ilk. And third, he’s not confined to talking points and rhetorical trickery, but usually tries to be responsive on the merits to the question at hand.
For someone so far left, he’s remarkably listenable.
Crackin’ me up.
petefrt on January 16, 2013 at 6:50 PM
He’s such a funny little man. He ought to be a regular on Hannity reprising the old Colmes role. Hannity and Kucinich would be hilarious.
dczombie on January 16, 2013 at 6:52 PM
The continuing self destruction of FOX news. Instead of changing hearts and minds, they have decided to just become the same worthless pablum every other news source has become.
astonerii on January 16, 2013 at 6:53 PM
He’s just itchin’ to break a tooth in the Fox lunch room and sue them silly.
John the Libertarian on January 16, 2013 at 6:53 PM
Alan Combs? Now there’s a worthless head full of mush. And that’s being generous. I’d take 10 Kucinich’s over 1 Colmes any day of the week.
petefrt on January 16, 2013 at 6:54 PM
I hope she has warm hands

Beck used to back up his tirades. His data was accurate.
Of course FOX dumped Drudge too. For the little while Drudge had an extremely cool program on FOX. I loved it. That FOX dumped Drudge over the baby issue was a shame. I do not think FOX ever quite recovered the full respect it once had from conservatives like myself. On the other hand, Drudge gained my respect

He’s on the wrong website, but he doesn’t know that, either.

Thank God. I was worried I was the only one on planet Earth wishing for such a pairing.
Myron Falwell on January 16, 2013 at 7:22 PM
Agree, Hannity and Kucinich would be a good pairing.
sauldalinsky on January 16, 2013 at 7:27 PM
I have no problem with it. At least they’re trying to demonstrate some semblance of balance. It’s not holding my breathe waiting for MSNBC to hire Alan West as a paid contributor.
heretic on January 16, 2013 at 7:42 PM
Fox actually could start a sister all-liberal news network with the liberal contributors they employ. Even throw in Geraldo and Rick Sanchez (who works for MundoFox).
MSNBC, by comparison, has only ONE conservative on their payroll in S.E. Cupp (and it’s very likely more people listen to her online radio show on The Blaze). I’m shocked they didn’t force her to change her name to Token.
Myron Falwell on January 16, 2013 at 8:19 PM
And no, I do not count Schmoe Scarborough as a conservative. He’s a liberal Democrat disguised as a RINO.
