New NY law prohibits disclosure of gun owners’ names
This is a damning repudiation of the Journal News’ behavior, and a bipartisan one. The law was signed by Governor Andrew Cuomo, a Democrat, and passed overwhelmingly by the state Assembly, which is controlled by Democrats.

Just one more law driving the ‘great realignment’ of conservatives leaving Blue states making them more blue and making Red states more red.
I’m all for it. We need to make Red states hostile territory for Liberals and Liberal ideas. I call it a Red State Redoubt.

That’s why the “redoubt” strategy wherein we make Red states hostile by passing laws they can’t abide by, I.e. no gay marriage, restrictions on abortion, restrictions on all kinds of public assistance, etc. whatever it takes to keep them away.

Congratulations to the criminals of NY. You can now conduct your crimes more safely due to the restrictions placed on law-abiding citizens. Remember to thank Gov. Cuomo when you victimize someone and end your crime unscathed.

Bah. New York State just required the disclosure of gun owners’ names. They also require you affirm that disclosure every 5 years.

They’re restricting disclosure of gun owners’ identity because the only ones left with guns are government agents.
