What makes sovereign British Government preferable to that of the EU, exactly?

Does the EU threaten to increase the standards in NHS or to put checks on 24/7 monitoring of everything?

Maybe its because new sophisticated unhelpful continental Eurocrats threaten to take the jobs that homegrown snaggletoothed British slovenly bureaucrats are entitled by birth to occupy.

Leave the EU?

The British government is debating whether or not people can be trusted with steak knives. Why on earth would they let them vote on something as important as leaving the EU?

In fact, a pretty good case can be made that any people so feckless as to allow their use of steak knives to be curtailed by their government, are not capable of – and do not deserve – a voice in weightier matters.
