Porn study scrapped after researchers couldn’t find young men who haven’t watched any
From the information gathered by his team of researchers, Lajeunesse found that single men typically spend about 40 minutes viewing porn three times a week, while men in committed relationships averaged 20 minute porn viewing sessions 1.7 times a week.
Lajeunesse found most boys seek out pornographic material by the age of 10, when they are most sexually curious. However, they quickly discard what they don’t like and find offensive.

It’s the Kinsey principle: 95% of men watch it, 5% lie.

Try the Amish?

Of course, based on the success of “Fifty Shades of Grey,” it also follows that 99.9% of women read it.

Did they ever try visiting an Amish settlement? Just sayin’.

As a woman I can say I read it to see if the hype was warranted. I can also say that it is one of the worst written piece of tripe available.

Agreed. I read all three of them. Why? Not sure, but I think it made me stupider.
(and there was nothing in those books that I hadn’t heard of before so I’m not sure why some people found them so shocking….)

Only in drafting gun control legislation is complete inexperience on a subject considered a plus.

I think for some women it was their first taste of romantic erotica.
Generally men need straight porn- women need a little love mixed in with theirs.

Porn is degrading to males and females alike. It programs them to be little more than lab animals responding to stimuli. And promiscuity drains the soul and further limits the ability to have meaningful relationships.
Sex is a beautiful act that cements the relationship of a committed couple. Without commitment, the amusement park sexual escapades are hollow.

Being a committed couple is not enough. Marriage (which is one man and one woman) is a necessary element.
Everything else is counterfeit.

Did this dimbulb try any one of a dozen isolated farming groups? Or even Bubba Junior out somewhere so remote that satellite Internet is the only option for pr0n?
My cr@p-O-Meter is going off the scale.

We are living in very troubled times….

Gotta wonder how men survived before they could get their hands on a Playboy as easily as they could get a copy of Time or National Geographic.
I’m not sure that if, for whatever reason, porn were suddenly no longer widely available that it wouldn’t lead to serious cultural unrest.
MelonCollie on January 13, 2013 at 8:51 PM
Porn is much too easy to obtain and too cheap (actually free on the internet) for it to be unpopular. One of the unintended consequences is that it has stunted and twisted relations between the sexes. This is hurting the basic strength of our society, the committed marriage.
