This type of mockery affords the “diversity” fetish a legitimacy that it doesn’t deserve.

No, it doesn’t. It forces the left to live up to their own rules. It forces them to hire people based entirely on skin color, ethnic background or gender rather than qualifications. Make them surround themselves with incompetent, affirmative action hires.
