David Frum
Please stay away from the gun debate, Mr. President
By putting the president’s face on the proposal, the administration consumes the oxygen that otherwise would have sustained new citizens’ groups, like that headed by former congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords. By talking about executive orders if legislation fails, the administration endorses a strategy that condemns gun safety measures in advance as an overbearing scheme by out-of-touch political elites. I fear this will all end badly.

And having anti-2A gun control bills fail is a bad end for Frum?

Is there some reason why we have to be reminded that Frumpy exists? He rates on a scale with Kathleen Parker which lands at zero.
If Frumpy wants to advise BO about guns, I suggest he join BO’s security detail and gain some wisdom.
For a snot like Frump security is a no brainer. He probably has all the security he needs. And as he despises the the rest of us poor beggars he could care less whether we live or die.
For HA ~~~~ it may drive traffic, but there’s nothing of consequence that Frump has to offer.
Let’s play the BO class warfare game, OK? Frumpy is not an American, really. He’s a rich, entitled aSShole who has little to claim as his own achievements.

Well, the progressives do favor population control, and the REDUCTION of population to “save the planet”.
Attempting to grab guns would tend to achieve this, if it’s mindlessly obedient gun grabbing jackboots that you want to thin out…
IE, a form of “abortion”, just messier.
