Obama needs some binders full of women
About all those white guys: What a shame.
Not an outrage, but a shame. The face of power that President Obama has chosen to present to the country and the world with his second-term Cabinet picks is striking — except for the African American president at the top of the pyramid — for its retro look, white and male. It’s “Mad Men” Goes to Washington, except Peggy’s leaving.
Especially because it could easily have been so different. Imagine the tableau of Obama flanked by secretary of state nominee Susan Rice and defense secretary nominee Michèle Flournoy. That would have been the ultimate you’ve-come-a-long-way moment.
And what would have been so nice about it is it wouldn’t have been a stretch. The gratifying thing about my now-imaginary Rice and Flournoy picks is that they would have occurred organically, reflecting the rise of women in the foreign and defense policy establishments.

Remember this: Not even Barack Obama – the first black president not named Clinton – the liberal messiah and the ultimate affirmative action president is being harangued for not being diverse enough.
In other words, if Obama can be criticized for parting from diversity, then there is not an end ever to the claims these “diversity” idiots will make on society. They’ll never be done making demands.

ah- the hypocrisy of the media and the left is worse than ever. Next election cycle- when a supposed non partisan reporter asks a republican about the pseudo war on women- they should tell them to shut the hell up as they have lost all credibility.

All in just one week:
1) Al Gore, champion of the brain-damaged “green” movement, sells his signature TV station to “Big Oil” for big money (dodging a major tax bullet in the process)
2) The left-wing press notices that the 0bama administration is not all that diverse.
Nonetheless, their faithful voters will turn out in droves to support these shameless hypocrites. I guess you really can’t fix stupid.

Maybe Obama shouldn’t have sent Rice out to lie about terrorism if he wanted her in his Cabinet so bad.
