Out: Gun control. In: Bullet control?
“2,800 people in California were killed last year by gunfire,” Skinner said. “It is easier to buy bullets than cough medicine or alcohol. It should not be that easy. We need to have much more scrutiny when it comes to the purchase of guns.”
Monday she unveiled Assembly Bill 48. It would require bullet buyers to show identification. It would also require ammunition dealers to be licensed and report all sales to the department of justice.
Emmeryville police chief Ken James supports the tighter restrictions.
”Right now you can buy bullets in any store and the sale is not recorded”, James said.

How much do you want to bet that the Piers Morgan/Jones lunacy will be held against gun owners, Jones made into the only lunatic, his guns to be taken away, Morgan made into the ‘sane and erudite’ Brit?
No, I’m not a Jones adherent. This is the first time I’ve ever seen him.

Gasoline shares similar traits with bullets.

From the article:
I hate top say it but that is the plan. The left will have little problem with killing millions to accomplish the goal. BO’s best buddy Ayers already said it would take at least 25 million dead to kick start the utopia.

We tried that in ’68. It not only failed to stop gun crime, but burglars would break in to gun stores to steal the record books in order to know which houses had guns so criminals could go steal them.
California tried it, but did such a poor job of writing the bill that it was declared unconstitutional.
Los Angeles and Pasadena have had ammo registration for some time. It doesn’t work.
Liberalism hasn’t had a new idea for 100 years, but they have plenty of old ones that are proven failures. But this time it’ll work. Trust me.

Like I say often, leftists always love/choose tyrannies. They stole the terms liberal and progressive.

Yep. Especially when you realize there are more arsons than murders.
Well, duh. The police chiefs almost always support freedom-restricting, unconstitutional firearms limits. The guy walking the beat might have a different opinion.

We always ask Why? when it comes to Liberals. Why don’t they leave us along, etc. Why do they always make things worse and then blame the target population for more control.
Example: Liberals are currently flying in Somalis in by the plane load (see: Keith Ellison, D-Minn) which represent a non-assimilable population that is riddled with crime. Even in cities where the population is evenly split, like New York the Stats are shocking. In New York, (1/3 White, 1/3 Hispanic, 1/3 Black) the Washington Post reporter Mr. Capehart described the New York City situation in 2010 as this:
It is moments like this you realize all that is wrong with this nation. Illegal aliens and gang-banging Blacks bankrupt hospitals in major and minor cities because they don’t pay their bills, while good kids like Carter Strange and David Strucinski are forced to have fundraisers to help them pay their medical bills. All because of the actions of Black thugs that Black people and civil rights and civil liberties groups come to defend. In a sense we live in a anarcho-tyranny**.
**Sam Francis :”definition of the system of government I have called “anarcho-tyranny”: a combination of anarchy in the inner cities in which legitimate government functions like spying on the bad guys or punishing real criminals—are not performed and tyranny (in which government performs illegitimate functions—like spying on the good guys or criminalizing innocent conduct like condoned.”
I mean it, why is anyone who is a member of MS-13 not deported? For God’s sake, they tattoo their FACES. In a real Country, such people would be defined as Enemies of the State and we would not send in more “police” but the National Guard. Community Policing is an utter failure (as have all police attempts to curb the rise of gangs). Instead the Government blames “White Privilege” or racism for the evil perpetrated, when White constitute 7% of crime per capita.
I hope the dreams of Liberals Future Utopia are worth it, because a lot of good people are getting hammered.

Let’s all give them one!
Well, that seems sort of silly. I never fish in a pond smaller than at least a few gallons. I don’t have any hooks small enough for anything less.
The Pivens approach to this? Hmmm.
GWB on January 8, 2013 at 2:37 PM
OMG!!! Is that really true?!?!
Every time you start to think maybe “fascist” is an overstatement. Yes, there are lawmakers and petty government officials in this country who would have fit in perfectly well in a totalitarian regime.

My God, we’re living in a Bullwinkle cartoon.
