Current TV staffers grumble about Gore after Al Jazeera sale
“He’s supposed to be the face of clean energy and just sold [the channel] to very big oil, the emir of Qatar! Current never even took big oil advertising—and Al Gore, that bulls***ter sells to the emir?”…
The displeasure with Gore among the staff was thick enough to cut with a scimitar.
“We all know now that Al Gore is nothing but a bulls***ter,” said the staffer bluntly.
We do stories on the tax code, and he sells the network before the tax code kicked in?
“Al was always lecturing us about green. He kept his word about green all right—as in cold, hard cash!”

Gore’s whole gig was always just a money making scam. I’m glad some of his “believers” are having there little fantasy worlds destroyed. I wonder how many of them will keep their jobs?

Hilarious…and yet these staffers will fall for the next fake Messiah just as easily…

Yes, we know. But you leftists don’t seem to have much of a problem working for (and voting for) bulls***ters. So, just fire up another bong and everything will be alright.

This whole affair is one of those gifts that just keep on giving. Wait until Al-Jazeera actually starts broadcasting.

I quit! Now wheres my golden parachute? Way too funny. As if the new owners would allow a woman to work in any capacity of power which I assume she has there. Ex governors don’t fetch coffee.

I feel almost as sorry for them as all the idiot liberals who blog free for the HuffPo who were shocked and butthurt when Arriana sold it for millions, and they didn’t get all the free content they sweated over…
Meanwhile noted liberal ass George Lucas rushed his $4B sale to Disney in for 2012 also to avoid taxes.
Noticing a trend here?
Maybe these morons should google the term “useful idiot”

I wonder how many of them quit and how many stay to work for Foreign Big Oil TV.

I hope that Al-Gore (like in Al-Jezeera) spontaneously combusts, form hypocrisy alone.

Kinda like being married to Tipper while getting his knob polished by some random “masseuse” ?
Paul-Cincy on January 8, 2013 at 1:38 PM
I ran down to the cellar for some sympathy, and guess what?
Chances are that 99% of those burned by the sale will still walk around in a Leftie fog, thinking the world could be a Coke commercial if we just give the Government more power.

Now, now. According to kos it’s no big deal because Al Jazeera is so superior to U.S. media, or something.
You know, with those non-American accents and all. That means it is superior, right there. Just like in film, TV, music or anything else. Non-American accents automatically mean better.
Moesart on January 8, 2013 at 1:40 PM
And so what that it’s oil money grabbed before new taxes kick in?
It’s cool when liberals do it.
Moesart on January 8, 2013 at 1:41 PM
In light of Gore’s sale of Current TV to Al Jazeera, I think one of the late night comics should do a spoof of Undercover Boss in which a boss from AJ goes undercover to get a feel of the employees in the organization that they just acquired.
BuckeyeSam on January 8, 2013 at 1:43 PM
In fairness, the lyrics are “Then I get on my knees and pray we don’t get fooled again.”

I’ve thought since about 2002 or 03 that he’s the biggest phony in America, except for maybe John Edwards. Bubba’s somewhere below those two.

There’s bound to be some openings for them at MoveOn or the Puffington Host… oh, wait.

Gore just released his Chakra on the staffers.
Now they know how it feels to be Monica.

Current’s staff may be permanently disillusioned with Al. But for the others on the left who bought into Gore’s enviro-scam, all he’s got to do is rev up one of his Gaia-inspired fire-and-brimstone sidewinder speech about how the world is going in end sometime in the near future if we don’t stop burning fossil fuels and they’ll be right back on his side.
jon1979 on January 8, 2013 at 3:05 PM
As Rush said today, when Al-Jazeera paid $400-500 million for Current, they bought more than just the network. They bought Al-Gore’s influence peddling too. He’ll be lobbying for them big time.
petefrt on January 8, 2013 at 3:11 PM
These Prince Albert-in-a-Can Kneepads obviously have been kept in the dark about Al’s long family involvement with Occidential Petroleum.
A curious News Media would have told them such things decades ago.
