Pelosi to GOP: Take back your party or something
“What happened?” Schieffer asked.
According to Pelosi, a large factor in the change was that Republicans came in during Obama’s first term and said “the most important thing they could do was to make sure he did not succeed.” She noted that she found it “unfortunate” and went on to describe how the GOP today “isn’t the Grand Old Party that did so many things for America.” It used to command so much respect, Pelosi said, but now it is dominated by an element “that are antigovernment ideologues and are committed to not cooperating with this president.”

All good and decent Republicans should take their advice from Nancy Pelosi. She has nothing but the best interests of the GOP at heart.

And that’s a bad thing why exactly?

Which is exactly what they were hired to do in 2010.

I wonder why her family doesn’t take care of the senile old bat and take her where she can babble to the walls and not further embarrass herself? BTW: I’m her age so I can call her an old bat.

Too bad the Democrat party never came up with a snappy moniker like “GOP”. Maybe we can help them along. Socialist Overlord Party, SOB. Nancy, tell the SOB to give back our country.

Why is it the Democrats number one job to continually try to define Republicans for the press and America? When will Republican leadership (I know, somewhat of an oxymoron these days) get out in front of their own messaging or at least counter the drivel being spewed by the likes of Pelosi, or do they agree with her?

Sounds good to me.

When you figure it out can you let me know. This is one of my biggest frustrations with the party.
gophergirl on January 7, 2013 at 8:51 AM
Sorry, that didn’t make any sense. Oh well, Nancy didn’t either. Try, try again.
If the Republicans wanted to be seen as less stick-up-the-*** they would need someone in the power structure with a sense of humor who could skewer Nancy, Harry & Barak mercilessly. Instead we get Mr. Weepy and Sen. Cream-of-Wheat.

She’s always been a mess but I think she’s getting worse. Nothing comes out of her mouth that isn’t hateful and partisan.
juliesa on January 7, 2013 at 8:59 AM
Of course many of us don’t want Obama (and Pelosi, Reid, et al) to succeed. Their idea of success is failure. Help more people fail so they can “help” them…not to succeed.
They thought that the Tea Party was a problem. Wait to they see the coming sequel

Tea Party to Pelosi: Admit that you were lying through your teeth when you said:
ITguy on January 7, 2013 at 10:14 AM
Lovely, coming from the House leader of the party that chased out nearly all of its moderates in 2004 and 2006 in order to have a more consistently and obediently anti-Bush voting bloc at hand to oppose his every political maneuver.
There’s a reason why Joe Lieberman hangs around Lindsay Graham and John McCain and has an (I) after his name.

Hey, Nancy,
Take back Vanessa Redgrave
Take back Joe Piscopo
Take back Eddie Murphy
