“Hagel is Obama in a GOP jersey”
By nominating Chuck Hagel to be his Defense secretary, President Obama is putting forward an aloof contrarian who doesn’t suffer fools–a striving politician who considers himself above politics. Hagel’s intellectual arrogance angers party colleagues, raising suspicions about what he really stands for, as well as doubts about whether he’s a team player.
In other words, Obama has picked a man very much like himself. Hagel is Obama in a GOP jersey.
That may be the biggest reason why Hagel’s confirmation in the Senate, while likely, will not be easy.

Same could be said of Chris Christie.
Except that Christie can actually do basic math.

So the establishment media, on one hand, paints the gop as a party of extremists and on the other hand claims hagel is a republican. Got it.

Hagel is a mirror image of obama – but, why should we expect obama to choose differently? The goal is to destroy America, and obama can only achieve total destruction if he surrounds himself with like-minded enemies of America who will dutifully carry out his orders.
Hagel is bad news for America – which is why obama chose him.

“Hagel is Obama in a GOP jersey”
Exactly right and Hagel has the additional benefit for Obama of having an “R” after his name so that the electorate will point to the fact that it was a republican defense secretary who sold Israel out. Perfect way for Obama to destroy the republican party even further AND keep the democrat name brand clean on a policy that will surely weaken Israel.

1. Hagel hates the Pentagon/Defense.
2. Hagel hates Israel.
3. Obama likes Hagel.
