Rand Paul courts pro-Israel figures ahead of likely presidential bid
Paul’s new contacts include Dan Senor, a former key Mitt Romney foreign policy aide who is also close to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who met Paul in his Washington office.
Paul is also going to take a “fairly impressive list of folks” on his trip to Israel next week, according to a source close to him, and he is planning on delivering a major foreign policy address in early February…
But recently, the junior Paul has begun an under-the-radar campaign to make overtures to those in his party whose foreign policy views are far less libertarian than his. He did an interview with the Washington Post’s hawkish blogger Jennifer Rubin, who found him “more self-aware and engaging than is the elder Paul, a wide-eyed libertarian.”

Mitt went to Israel also and IS a persoal friend of Bibi! It didn’t help Mitt much, but in MY eyes it did. YOU have got to be with Israel or you are like bho/team and everyone bho nominates hate the guts out of them?

Well, judging from where Willard is right now (i.e. “not in the oval office”) … I’d say his trist to Israel did him inconsequential good. Then again – Mitt Romney’s shortcomings as a candidate kind of eclipsed the few things he got right.
As far as Paul – who said he was against Israel? He’s said we shouldn’t be supporting them the way we are – and we shouldn’t. This doesn’t mean that we wouldn’t come to their defense if they were attacked.
If you are saying that the correct conservative position is that conservatives want to spend INDEFINITE AMOUNTS of their tax dollars on Israel then no – I don’t think you’re right about that.

Until voters WAKE UP and support people with ACTUAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS, we will continue to get crptastic governments like the one we will be suffering through for at least 2 years.
I like Paul, BUT even Sarah Palin has a much more impressive list of accomplishments than does Rand.
America ALWAYS gets the government it DESERVES, and the problem usually rests with the voters, so when looking for a scapegoat do take a look in the mirror first.

The list of accomplishments I’m looking for in today’s America is one long in attempts at blocking the progressives’ would be accomplishments.

Go Senator Paul. I look forward to seeing what more you can do.

Yep! That is a perfect description of Sarah Palin’s accomplishments.

His biggest disappointment has to be his own community
If the American Jewish community was mainly conservative, so much would change because it starts there. Right now, the progressives dominate, and that group runs on guilt. Guilt coupled with the philosophy of the equalization of results means they support anything that is not definitively pro Israel. Until they have raised Israel’s enemies to the same level as that little nation, the imbalance will continue. Even then, how many believe Israel has a right to exist?
Israel is only the most hated. If that nation disappears, the enemy will find the next one on the list and transfer their effort of destruction until they have revised the world.

My faith says, One will not be thrilled if that might happen? Guess we will wait and see who comes out on top, Israel or those who wants them gone? It is not going to be fun times here on planet earth if what I understand come to being?
