“It looks like the second term of Barack Obama is going to be an in your face term”
“I like Chuck Hagel. He served with distinction in Vietnam as an enlisted man — two Purple Hearts. But quite frankly Chuck Hagel is out of the mainstream of thinking on most issues regarding foreign policy,” said Graham in an interview on CNN’s “State of the Union.”
“He has long severed his ties with the Republican party. This is an in your face nomination of the president to all of us who are supportive of Israel,” he added. “I don’t know what his management experience is in regards to the Pentagon or global if anyway, so I think it’s an extremely controversial choice.”…
“It looks like the second term of Barack Obama is going to be an in your face term,” he said.

Good. Because your “mainstream” foreign policy has gotten us entrenched in endless foreign wars, humanitarian ‘crises’ and empowered radical Islamists in the Middle East. Not to mention completely disregarded any constitutional contraints of the executive w/r/t the war powers. GO. AWAY. GRAHAM.

In you face isn’t the half of it. It’s looking more like incitement with each passing day.

ABC: Not Enough Democratic Support to Confirm Hagel

And we need to be in the faces of our GOP congress . Screw Obama.

The Gay Bacon Lettuce and Tomato crowd hate him so perhaps there is hope.
BL@KBIRD on January 6, 2013 at 12:55 PM
The confirmation hearings alone would be worth the price of admission of having a Senator Barney Frank serving out the remainder of John Kerry’s term.
Pass the popcorn.

RWM, please add to your entry that Obama is a vulgar, spoiled child.

Alas, the majority of the land is a nation of spoiled and lazy adolescents.
Schadenfreude on January 6, 2013 at 1:06 PM
If only someone could have predicted that before the election.
There was no indication that he would be more flexible after being reelected.
Mimzey on January 6, 2013 at 1:06 PM
Obama, by picking Hagel, will be “in the faces” of his LGBT buddies. Fools, you were snookered by the one who scrooms you, literally and figuratively. The Schadenfreude continues.

Every group/bunch/human that believed/voted for that forked tongue lying snake bho that he would help them now see’s just what/who he is? Y’all got the royal ‘I won’ from bho!

RWM, also he is underdeveloped, a perpetual narcissistic teenager, who learns nothing, because he’s a child emperor.
Schadenfreude on January 6, 2013 at 1:20 PM
He’s a child who’s competitive (“I won”) so like Bill Kristol said on FoxNews this morning, sure he got the Republicans to fight among themselves, but, what does that have to do with anything? It’s so petty. What about the debt, and the spending, and the country? All he cares about is winning. He loved it when he said that a few months ago the Republicans said they would NEVER cave on tax hikes for the “rich”. He loved it. That’s what drives him. Not the long-term future of our country. He beat us on taxes. “I’m Lebron, baby!” — Obama, 2004.

It’s a meaningless disappointment to gays and useless fig leaf to his minority constituencies. Obama got rid of DADT and now is the first president to support gay marriage, albeit only rhetorically.
It’s amazing how Democrats keep all of their conflicting client groups together, but somehow they do it.

Given that the primary opposition to Hagel comes from Democrats, while the Republicans objection is basically, “He’s about as bad as anyone Obama would nominate,” whose faces are Obama getting all up in, exactly?
Obama wants to tell gays and liberal Jews – two groups that earn decidedly more than the American and especially the Democratic mean income – to go eat cake? Fine by me. Idiots shouldn’t be protected from the consequences of their vote, and that maxim should extend far beyond the paychecks of poor people.
And if Obama perchance does come to his senses and deigns to accommodate an objection for the first time in his presidency, then he’ll be starting his second term off with two nominations submarined; so it’s basically a win-win for his opposition.

Bcs these people lack a moral compass in most cases.
And it’s damned easy to rationalize loyalty to a cause that in some cases goes against your grain.
Bcs the ultimate goal is to destroy this Republic & turn it into a communist country.
Oops sorry. I sooooo meant socialist country.

“Martial law is usually imposed on a temporary basis when the civilian government or civilian authorities fail to function effectively (e.g., maintain order and security, or provide essential services), when there are extensive riots and protests, or when the disobedience of the law becomes widespread.”
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martial_law
That’s in your face. I spent 5 years in Korea in the seventies under martial law, midnight curfew, military checkpoints, routine public beatings administered by the police and military. Martial law lasted for 20 years!
