“Her name was Jyoti. I am proud of her.”

In the U.S. those savages would be given a nice comfy cell, top notch medical care, and the support of sensitive liberals who would be very concerned about their every need.

This is horrid. Just outrageous in the extreme.

The sad fact that ‘kid’ that did this is under age and is not tired as an adult? I do hope they find a way to hang/quarter/shoot/or whatever they have for all these!
Bless Jyoit’s heart and may she RIP in their faith.

Understand the word “thug” is from the “Thuggees” who roamed India many years ago. Every culture has their bad apples.
Thuggee
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The term Thuggee is derived from Hindi word ठग, or ṭhag, which means thief. Related words are the verb thugna, to deceive, from Sanskrit स्थग sthaga meaning cunning, sly, fraudulent, dishonest, scoundrel, from स्थगति sthagati (English: he conceals).[4] This term for a particular kind of murder and robbery of travellers is popular in South Asia and particularly in India.
The story of Thuggee was popularised by books such as Philip Meadows Taylor’s novel Confessions of a Thug, 1839, leading to the word “thug” entering the English language.

I read today that a nine year old girl was just gang-raped by men in Pakistan. So far there has been no outcry among Pakistan’s citizens, as far as I’ve heard.
Brainstorm with me: Is there a factor that differentiates India and Pakistan that could explain silence of the Pakistanis in a situation that caused public outrage in India, right next door?

The Pakistani girl’s age is a clue.

It was actually a religious cult in India. Finally broken up by a British officer named Sleeman. Quite the hero. Anyway, the Thuggee only killed other Indians, never Brits and their intent was not simply to rob, but to kill…
“The thugs would join travellers and gain their confidence. This would allow them to then surprise and strangle their victims by tossing a handkerchief or noose around their necks. The killings were performed in honour of the goddess Kali and were very ritualistic. They would then rob their victims of valuables and bury their bodies. This led them to also be called Phansigar (English: using a noose), a term more commonly used in southern India.”
They operated for hundreds of years until Sleeman and company eradicated the cult. Interesting stuff.

Not sure what you can expect from a society that has so devalued women that they go out of their way to abort them before they even have a chance, or who abandon them to orphanages when they are born. And the feminazis in this country call it a war on women when they can’t get free birth control. Absolutely disgusting all the way around.

the original thugees only attacked and killed men not women-because they were devotees of the goddess kali . the murders were seen as a form of sacrifice in order to be rewarded with reincarnation. this is information that will never be found on wikipedia.
jesus was a blood sacrifice- all the major religions have blood sacrifices somewhere within their early beliefs- including the ritual murder of humans.
rape is prevalent in all cultures-but when it happens in the west or when one man like ted bundy or the green river killer rape and murder scores of women each there’s not much talk about ancient history or what savages american males are and how they need to be civilized and christianized.
the rape capital of the world today is actually south africa.

That statement implies equality, but offers no proof, and since you’re the one to make the statement shouldn’t you offer some proof that there aren’t some groups engage in this behavior more than others.
