“I think we are immeasurably worse off. I think it was a complete failure.”
“I think we are immeasurably worse off. I think it was a complete failure,” Brooks said. “Listen, what did we want out of this? The president wanted a balanced deal with some tax increases and some spending cuts. We didn’t get a balanced deal. There were no real spending cuts.”
“Second, we could have done something to address our long-term debt,” Brooks added. “That was the whole purpose behind this whole thing. We did nothing to address our long-term debt, and almost nothing to reduce deficits over the next 10 years. We could have had a stimulus package to have some short-term economic growth, which was talked about. We did nothing to do that. We did nothing to help reform entitlements.”

And of course Brooksie blames the GOP.
The real problem is we have a marxist in the White House, sharp crease and all.

So Obama wanted spending cuts and entitlement reform and it was the Republicans who prevented that from happening? Breathtaking.

Does anyone really care about Brooks opinion on anything?

This, of course, was the goal of this legislation, just as it is the goal of obama’s entire faux “presidency”.

Not being gay myself, is the delusion when one gay man loves another gay man always this deep and enduring? I’m just asking. Seriously.

This blows my mind. Why is Brooks still calling himself a Republican?
p0s3r on January 5, 2013 at 4:57 PM
Same reason that McVain and Miss Lindsay are.
It gets him on a lot of talk shows where he can claim to “represent” the Republican view, and the MSM doesn’t have to worry about a real conservative viewpoint leaking out to the public.

I can find no reason to pay attention whatsoever to anything this moron pontificates about.
