Dianne Feinstein: Women senators are more reasonable, “less on testosterone”
“I don’t want people who watch this show to think we’re some kind of a sorority because we’re not,” Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Cali.) said to ABC News’ Diane Sayer in a joint interview with her female colleagues. “We’re all– we all march to the sound of different drummers to some extent. And we all have, I think, an area of effectiveness. I think one of the things that we have done throughout our career is earned a portfolio of expertise. We have worked our way up, we have done our apprenticeship. We understand how government should function and we want to play a role toward that positive functioning.”
“This is one of the reasons I think women become effective originally, that they can sound that call. Another reason I think, you know, we’re less on testosterone,” she said.

I wonder if she is void of estrogen?

Drama Queen
What we need is more testosterone on the Hill not less. Too many are lacking a pair. That’s why they are always wussing out instead of doing their jobs. We need Constitutional Warriors not a bunch of limp wristed worry warts who hem and haw without accomplishing anything.
HotAirian on January 5, 2013 at 1:47 PM
She’s certainly void of intelligence.
davidk on January 5, 2013 at 1:48 PM
Gosh, that makes me feel like a victim of sexism. Of course, as James Taranto just pointed out, apparently it doesn’t work both ways.
Drained Brain on January 5, 2013 at 1:48 PM
Imagine if a male Senator had said the inverse. Career over.

I wonder if Sgt. Ed Schultz will get his panties in a wad over this blatant sexism like he did with O’Reilly’s Asian comment.

Wasn’t there a recent study that proved Democrat women are 97% more likely to have a moustache than their Republican counterparts?
Pretty sure.

She’s a zombie.

Feinstein is a raging sexist.
Male Senators should demand her resignation immediately.
darwin on January 5, 2013 at 1:50 PM
Yeah, it’s sexist alright. But she’ll get a pass of course. Not that I really give a damn, since I’m not a member of The Perpetually Offended. Nevertheless, I will hold Diane to her own set of rules and demand she apologize.
RadClown on January 5, 2013 at 1:51 PM
How many here are old enough to remember when VP Hubert Humphrey’s physician said women were unsuitable for high office because of “raging hormones”? Ane the response by the libbers?
Feminazis are fine with sexual stereotypes (Think Carol Gilligan’s “ethics of care”) when it furthers their agenda.
Wethal on January 5, 2013 at 1:51 PM
But higher on estrogen…and PMS…
And afraid of silly things..like guns.
ProfShadow on January 5, 2013 at 1:51 PM
well, i must say that Diane has been the soul of reason on the gun issue….and Sibelius has been extremely kind and compassionate and reasoned and empathic on the barry.care and religion issue

Yes, in my experience women are the level headed ones while men are prone to hormone induced unpredictable behavior

The only ‘estrogen’ this old harpy gets is in a pill! He ovaries have dried up years ago. And old harpy dianne, there isn’t near near enough testosterone in any of the guys in dc! They sure are not raging bulls in any shape or form the way they act and deal with bho!

I think shes right. Too much confrontations due to an overdose of testosterone. But under them, I have to sadly admit that spending would rise by 1000%. Its the estrogen.

They should but they haven’t a pair of balls or a spine among them, so don’t hold your breath.
dogsoldier on January 5, 2013 at 2:02 PM
Oh yeah, the first adjective that pops into my mind when thinking about this old harpy and her ilk is “reasonable”….
Tim Zank on January 5, 2013 at 2:05 PM
You would be more reasonable if you were cooking lunch for your family, you withered liberal witch. But then again, that would require you reproducing.
MelonCollie on January 5, 2013 at 2:09 PM
What about the old geezer factor? Yeah, women can be called that too. And my apologies to lucid old geezers to which Feinstein isn’t even close. For Califorlorn supposedly being a state full of cool hipsters and celebriturds, why do they keep voting her and the other geezer Boxer back into office? Never mind Pelosi, San Franstupid is a lost cause. BTW, some old geezer women have more testosterone than estrogen.

And this, is why I NEVER hire women. Good gravy, can you imagine a whole heard of liberal making laws? And worse, most are liberal women? No.Just no.

“This is one of the reasons I think men become effective originally, that they can sound that call. Another reason I think, you know, we’re less on estrogen”
If any man said that, Diane would get the vapors and whine until he was publicly executed.

Many historians have noted that the beginning of America’s long march towards socialism started with the success of the women’s suffrage movement.

In other words, Feinstein promises to legislate out of her vajayjay.
RedRedRice on January 5, 2013 at 2:40 PM
While she may have a slight point regarding the testosterone level increasing confrontations she opens herself to the problem of women having estrogen issues which cause back biting and pettiness. Funny how those gender slams can work both ways.
She also ignores the reality that people who go into politics – both male and female – often have basic ego issues that cause many of the problems.
