upon taking office, both clinton and bush dismissed most US attorneys, as is the norm. but it’s extremely unusual for a president to fire his own appointees.

No…Bush still sucked and did a great deal of harm to conservatism and to the GOP. He spent a boat load of money, created new government programs, infringed on personal liberties, had a stupid foreign policy and tried to make Muslims our friends by giving them democracy (the mob rule version) and lots of dollars.

“Politically motivated” may be the single stupidest phrase used by people who try to sound like they know politics.
