You are either so deluded it’s actually funny or you’re trying to cover for some pretty serious pain in your life.

Without God, you have only temporary relief from pain and suffering until you die, at which point you will cease to exist and be forgotten. There will be no reward for anything good you’ve ever done and no punishment for anything bad. You will never see anyone you ever loved ever again.

With God you can have happiness beyond this roller-coaster existence; a body that never decays or gets sick and an eternity with your loved ones who also asked His forgiveness.

And a final thought – no God means no relief for human suffering besides what temporary, 3rd-rate measures mankind can come up with. Which are ALWAYS inadequate.

You do illustrate, very well, the objectives of what we call Christianity. It presses that humanity is inherently evil, and thus requires that mankind will forever suffer because it is decidedly deserving of this treatment. The God is omniscient (all-knowing), and thus aware of the misery he creates as an omnipotent (all-powerful) deity, but is fully unwilling to prevent it whatever his capabilities. Without this brute, humanity actually has a chance at bettering itself - because there is no madman causing our misery. Just us. Suffering is solvable and fixable. Instead of focusing our energies on scary "woo-woo" nonsense about afterlives like New Aged psychics, we turn our focus on improving our lives and our world. No God, no suffering.

It gets worse: all things will go from 'permissible' to being 'rights'. Just take a look at the gayfia's agenda. Legalizing their behavior isn't enough - they WILL and ARE coming after Christians for preaching the Biblical truth about their STD-spreading perversion.

On the 1000 comment thread someone openly acknowledged that even if the Bible sounded silly at points (& to nonbelievers, it does) our beliefs were at least internally consistent and not inevitably harmful, while liberalism was destructive looney-tune doublethink. I made sure to thank him.

Follow His rules or watch as society invents its own, however disgusting/tyrannical/foolish they may be. Those are your only two choices, people. Pick one.
