Rubio on fiscal cliff deal: “I just couldn’t vote for it”
“I just couldn’t vote for it,” Rubio told reporters. “I ran, just two years ago, on the idea that I wanted to be part of solving the long-term problems this country faces. Time and again, we’re given choices here that don’t involve that.”
“The real fiscal cliff is still there,” he said. “We’ll be back here again. In March, we’ll have a showdown like this all over again.”

I can’t think of anything memorable that Rubio’s said. He’s the GOP Obama.

How is Obama working out for the progressive left in this country?
(1) Let see they raised taxes on small businesses (check)
(2) Boat load of new regulation. (check)
(3) Big super sized stimulus packages (check)
(4) Executive branch power grab (check)
(5) Put the U.S. on the road to Nationalized Health Care (check)
(6) Made the U.S. look like weak punks to the rest of the world (check)
(7) Playing the GOP over and over again (check)
Plus they now have four more years to do even more damage.
Oh how I wish we had a Republican version of Obama…

Actually the wealthy won’t have as much problem with the new taxes as everyone lets on. Just get rid of an employee or two, and there you are. The company I work for hasn’t issued a raise since 2007. Employer contributions to the 401K ended at the same time. We’ve shed for than 25% of employees, and the annual Christmas party is a fading memory. I expect at some point our healthcare plan will become an untenable burden, and it will be time for an austere retirement. The shiite always rolls down hill.

ou’ll probably get it, with the difference being that Obama had his base, and Rubio won’t. Therefore Hillary in a landslide.

Maybe Rubio will find some “sensible” gun control or some “immigration reform” more to his liking.

Actually, my point was that Rubio is a conservative opportunist, a Bushie, and a fraud. He’s a young Orin Hatch. I think you and I can agree on that point.
Do you really think Palin did the right thing in backing Hatch? I don’t, and his actions tend to support my view.

Would’ve said no until Liljenquist came out and said he supported tax increases.

At least you knew what you were getting with Liljenquist. Hatch just voted for tax increases.
