Experts: Hillary’s blood clot could have been life threatening
“She is lucky being Hillary Clinton and had a follow-up MRI — lucky that her team thought to do it,” said Dr. Brian D. Greenwald, medical director at JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Center for Head Injuries. “It could have potentially serious complications.”
The backup of blood flow could have caused a stroke or hemorrhage, according to Greenwald.
“Imagine this vein, where all the cerebral spinal fluid inside the head and spine no longer flows through this area,” he said. “You get a big back up and that itself could cause a stroke. In the long-term … the venous system can’t get the blood out of the brain. It’s like a Lincoln Tunnel back up.”

New talking point – It’s not fair that only people rich like Clinton have access to this type of medical care. Just shows that we need Obamacare.
2nd t.p. – Don’t all you evil haters who questioned her avoiding testifying feel badly now? Of course you would have been happy if she’d had a stroke and died. /s

So have her actions as Secretary of State been life threatening…or ending, as in Benghazi…
ProfShadow on January 1, 2013 at 12:44 PM
Doubling down on this story line, huh?
Fallon on January 1, 2013 at 12:48 PM
Well, third talking point: Hillary Clinton’s in frail health and has no business running for president.
ddrintn on January 1, 2013 at 12:50 PM
Were they able to save her Benghazi receptor?
petefrt on January 1, 2013 at 12:50 PM
So, she had a bruise…
Blake on January 1, 2013 at 12:50 PM
That’s the line I’d push — unhealthy to be POTUS.
AH_C on January 1, 2013 at 12:52 PM
“If you have a life-threatening blood clot maybe you should just take uh, a pain pill”.
Let her go before a death panel anonymously and see if she’s worth saving. Because the rest of us are going to be triaged.
vityas on January 1, 2013 at 12:52 PM
So I’m confused… Does this mean Bill can, or can’t, start dating again?
greggriffith on January 1, 2013 at 12:53 PM
Yep the liberals just lost a solid candidate for them. If you all recall when McSame had a certain someone as a VP this was a huge issue….

The Volkswagen I dropped on my toe after lifting it off the infant baby, her handicapped mother, and the fuzzy puppy, could have gotten infected and killed me. But it didn’t.

And will this ‘clot’ problem make her memory a little fuzzy on things that happened in the past under her watch? Might be that testifing under oath about benghazi might not happen because of possible lingering memory loss?

I’m not impressed. Life is potentially life-threatening too. And at age 65, life becomes more fragile for all of us. Falls, bruises, fractures, clots … all that good stuff becomes potentially life-threatening.
Paul-Cincy on January 1, 2013 at 1:08 PM
I am still very skeptical of this entire story. The Clintons are perfectly capable of staging this to keep her out of trouble. They have done worse.
dogsoldier on January 1, 2013 at 1:13 PM
Well, I’ll take the docs at face value, but the how is a big Twlight Zone mystery! Comet dust? Hit in the head by an Iranian missle test? Kryptonite put in her tea?
Limerick on January 1, 2013 at 1:24 PM
The weight of her concern for the people who were killed, was such a strain, that she got all clotted up.
Mimzey on January 1, 2013 at 1:28 PM
She has the alcy look.
dehydration, i believe.
The rest, who knows.

You’re in dreamland if you think there is a version of socialized medicine where everyone gets the same level of care. That place doesn’t exist. I’ve lived in Europe. In Germany, for example, you can pay more and you get to see Herr Doctor directly instead of going through the equivalent of a physician’s assistant, like the masses.
They just found out about the blood clot. What was her excuse before that? They are arguing that she was in danger, not that she had any symptoms or brain damage. So no, I don’t feel bad at all for asking madam secretary to do her job.
STL_Vet on January 1, 2013 at 1:31 PM
meh. My mainstream media friend who INSISTED a youtube video caused Benghazi, SWEARS Hilary is being treated for a blood clot in her head in a NY hospital and laughs at my opinion that she is waiting for facelift bruises to heal.
ctmom on January 1, 2013 at 1:34 PM
Good point.
Mimzey on January 1, 2013 at 1:35 PM
The fact that the rich, and prominent Democratic politicians (but I repeat myself) get access to better quality healthcare than the masses will not be changed by Obamacare. In fact, Obamacare is going to significantly diminish the quality of healthcare that most Americans receive (and simultaneously raise the price we pay for it), while the rich will continue to get premium healthcare (and politicians like Clinton will continue to stick taxpayers will the bill for it).
Is this a great country, or what?
AZCoyote on January 1, 2013 at 2:04 PM
Hmmmm…..but what about these rumblings?

There are rumors about that circulating along with brain cancer rumors. Frankly I think it’s all bull excrement to get her out of testifying about Benghazi.
dogsoldier on January 1, 2013 at 2:37 PM
So an MSM outlet of reliably left hive operatives selectively solicits “experts” (I love that nebulous catch-all term for any variety of media preferred kibitzers) essentially saying that any type of notable health issue can be potentially “life threatening” to support their talking point that the right is being mean to the sick Dem girl.

“Could have been life threatening”…..
yea, so could had my paper cut if it got infected I didn’t take care of it.
shoulda, woulda, coulda.
tencole on January 1, 2013 at 2:57 PM
Or a toilet blockage.
Anyone shot in the head six times by teh evil Serbs (or maybe noble Muslims?) in Tuzla is bound to be slightly prone to these things. Besides, Huma does all the thinking for Hillary.
BL@KBIRD on January 1, 2013 at 3:26 PM
Could have been? Aww.
