British health care: It’s come to this
Up to 60,000 patients die on the Liverpool Care Pathway each year without giving their consent, shocking figures revealed yesterday.
A third of families are also kept in the dark when doctors withdraw lifesaving treatment from loved ones.
Despite the revelations, Jeremy Hunt last night claimed the pathway was a ‘fantastic step forward’.

Obama pretty much agreed with this kind of treatment for Americans with his “pain pill” plan.

We deserve worse.
We kill 3,000 unborn infants every week, and have been doing so for the past two generations.
We deserve far, far worse.
Scribbler on January 1, 2013 at 2:00 PM
It’s been that way for years – and against the patients’ and families wishes. Elderly people get sick and end up pneumonia, maybe a bladder infection, dehyrdrated, and delirious. You stick an IV in them, rehyrdate them and give them antibiotics. They get well and you send them home. In the UK they starve them to death. It’s BS!
Blake on January 1, 2013 at 2:01 PM
Brilliant! With this protocol there’s no messy debate about “assisted suicide,” since the patients never know what hit ‘em.

They might as well slap on the swastikas. That is what they are.

We have reelected a man in favor of allowing ‘unwanted’ infants to be exposed until they die after failed late abortions.
We have supposed that the economy is more important, and have rallied around that uncertain standard.
We deserve no good whatsoever.
Scribbler on January 1, 2013 at 2:02 PM
If it were only 3000 a week.
We abort over 1 million a year.

They aborted their own children to keep their helplessness and expense from crimping their lifestyles. What did they expect their surviving kids to do to them when they became expensive and helpless?
I believe it is estimated at 3,000/day. Our time is coming, we will reap the morality we have sown.

“And Obamacare won’t add one dime to the deficit (because according to the CBO’s latest calculations, it’ll add billions to the deficit), and it’s morally imperative that we pass Obamacare because there are millions of Americans who don’t have health insurance (and the CBO also says that after Obamacare is fully implemented in 2014, there will still be, at a minimum, 30 million Americans who don’t have health insurance).
Hahahaha. Suckers!”

Sure but Sebellius and Bark are smarter than the Brits, and British soldiers once shackled Bark’s great grandfather or something so how good can they be?
Don’t worry so much you ignorant Rethuglikkkans, all your pains and concerns will be eased by the benevolent Party led by Dear Great Leader.
Now get on the train or the dogs will be released.

Why no, officer, I didn’t kill that NHS doctor. I just gave him some Liverpool Care, like he did to my parents. That’s all it is, just a…pathway…with colorful flowers and chirping birdies and cool breezes….

How about that free health care? I cannot wait until it is fully implemented in the USA.
Though I am curious why it is one never hears about a member of Parliament (or their family members) being terminated like this. Quite a statistical anomaly….
iconoclast on January 1, 2013 at 2:23 PM
My question is why these doctors want to kill their patients. Is there some financial gain to them if they save the system a few dollars, or have they just gotten lazy?

Yes, it is amazing. Similar to how the American press never discusses how members of Congress always exempt themselves from every bit of bullshit legislation they cram down the American peoples throat.

The Dead Collector: Bring out yer dead.
[a man puts a body on the cart]
Large Man with Dead Body: Here’s one.
The Dead Collector: That’ll be ninepence.
The Dead Body That Claims It Isn’t: I’m not dead.
The Dead Collector: What?
Large Man with Dead Body: Nothing. There’s your ninepence.
The Dead Body That Claims It Isn’t: I’m not dead.
The Dead Collector: ‘Ere, he says he’s not dead.
Large Man with Dead Body: Yes he is.
The Dead Body That Claims It Isn’t: I’m not.
The Dead Collector: He isn’t.
Large Man with Dead Body: Well, he will be soon, he’s very ill.
The Dead Body That Claims It Isn’t: I’m getting better.
Large Man with Dead Body: No you’re not, you’ll be stone dead in a moment.
The Dead Collector: Well, I can’t take him like that. It’s against regulations.
The Dead Body That Claims It Isn’t: I don’t want to go on the cart.
Large Man with Dead Body: Oh, don’t be such a baby.
The Dead Collector: I can’t take him.
The Dead Body That Claims It Isn’t: I feel fine.
Large Man with Dead Body: Oh, do me a favor.
The Dead Collector: I can’t.
Large Man with Dead Body: Well, can you hang around for a couple of minutes? He won’t be long.
The Dead Collector: I promised I’d be at the Robinsons’. They’ve lost nine today.
Large Man with Dead Body: Well, when’s your next round?
The Dead Collector: Thursday.
The Dead Body That Claims It Isn’t: I think I’ll go for a walk.
Large Man with Dead Body: You’re not fooling anyone, you know. Isn’t there anything you could do?
The Dead Body That Claims It Isn’t: I feel happy. I feel happy.
[the Dead Collector glances up and down the street furtively, then silences the Body with his a whack of his club]
Large Man with Dead Body: Ah, thank you very much.
The Dead Collector: Not at all. See you on Thursday.
Large Man with Dead Body: Right.
In Britain, psychotic mass murder by the state imitates art. And if you add in that pathetic hospital bed dance routine they put on for the Olympics …. Monty Python had no idea how totally sick their England truly was, ESPECIALLY since the douchebag leftists in Monty Python pushed this psychotic mass murder, themselves, with on e of the idiots coming over to America to help push the same self-genocide over here. Monty Python thought they were making fun of England but they were only making commentary about sick f–ks like themselves. At least, during the plague there was something real going on. Today, they kill their own people for the fun of it, the sick, sick bastids.

And yet I got hellfire for daring to point out that God might not protect the citizens and the children of a nation with a consistent national agenda of extramarital fornication, drug usage, sodomy, infanticide, and legalized robbery.

How did I know HA would get onto this. I suppose people never die in American hospitals – they are all revived and live happily ever after..
Managing death is a crucial part of nursing, a highly skilled calling so how is it done in American hospitals….I’d love to know…notice nobody mentioned this…as one nurse said

Government Health Care Kills More Brits Than Guns Kill Americans
INC on January 1, 2013 at 3:31 PM
There is a Grand Canyon’s worth of difference between managing death and INDUCING it, you liberal idiot. (but I repeat myself)
The British ‘health”care’ system has taken to managing costs by deliberately withdrawing medical support. These aren’t Teri Schiavos we’re talking about.
MelonCollie on January 1, 2013 at 3:34 PM
Calling those who disagree with you morons is not going to be conducive to helping them understand or consider your point.
If you catch scorn and anger for speaking God’s truth that’s one thing (Jesus made it quite clear that’s to be expected), but if you catch it for being obnoxious that’s another thing altogether.
INC on January 1, 2013 at 3:35 PM
I’m calling him a moron because he IS a moron.
He’s being a liberal troll by making a blatantly false comparison – ” I suppose people never die in American hospitals – they are all revived and live happily ever after.” Which nobody here but him has said.
He’s also deliberately ignoring the point of the article: that the UK system has taken to managing costs by yanking life support. This is a bone-chillingly cold measure that goes against everything doctors should stand for.
MelonCollie on January 1, 2013 at 3:39 PM
That’s quite the Potemkin village you have there. And it only cost a few bytes to create that bit of propaganda.
