Weekly Standard
Tough question from David Gregory to Obama: “Is this your Lincoln moment?”
“Well, no,” Obama said in response to Gregory’s question. “Look, a) I never compare myself to Lincoln. And b) obviously the magnitude of the issues is quite different from the Civil War and slavery. The point, though, is democracy has always been messy. We’re a big diverse country that is constantly sort of arguing about all kinds of stuff. But eventually, we do the right thing.”

You’re a liar.
You are actively fomenting a CW by trying to enforce your particular brand of slavery. It is why you need to disarm the civilian population.

And in the same Eat The Press interview the World’s Greatest Orator obamateurizes onward in describing Benghazi from “less than optimum” to “sloppiness…”

I’m surprised he got that question out. It’s hard to talk when you’re giving a blow job.

Really?
A fiscal cliff that was created by Obama’s refusal to address spending and it somehow could bring about decisions as momentous as those Lincoln faced?
What a joke.
What “journalist” would even pretend that is a serious question?
Though, I do think it’s rather ironic that the president who’s policies will enslave future generations to the government in order to pay for our debt is somehow being equated to a president that brought about the end of slavery in order to get the federal government in the position to kill federalism.

“It’s so nice that our kids attend the same heavily security protected school, Mr. President. I’m so honored for our special and superiour privileges…they are just rubes and peasants…take their guns away, please”.
May they both spontaneously combust from consuming carrion and from hypocrisy.

I can forgive him for that. The media is so sycophantic that they actually shame Obama – Barack H Obama into embarrassed modesty.

Obama is totally being like Lincoln. Dividing the nation and setting us up for intranational war due to slavery.
Instead of ending slavery though, he is intending to enslave.
astonerii on December 30, 2012 at 1:52 PM
Well, not quite, David. Lincoln actually achieved dictatorial power for a while and I don’t really think we can get that far this time. We will go as far as we can though./BO
