Starbucks to expand fiscal cliff campaign for some reason
“Stores from across the country have been asking if they could join in and we have been saying ‘absolutely yes,’” Starbucks spokesman Jim Olson said in an email according to Reuters. “Based on this unprecedented response, we are inviting all of our partners at U.S. stores to start signing their customers’ cups with Come Together through next Friday.”
On Wednesday, Starbucks publicized a letter from CEO Howard Schultz to employees about the Come Together effort.
“In the spirit of the Holiday season and the Starbucks tradition of bringing people together, we have a unique opportunity to unite and take action on an incredibly important topic,” Schultz wrote in the letter. “Rather than be bystanders, we have an opportunity — and I believe a responsibility — to use our company’s scale for good by sending a respectful and optimistic message to our elected officials to come together and reach common ground on this important issue.”

Horse hockey. More leftist bullcr@p from the poster-child of the “latte leftist” club.
I hope that the GOP steps aside and lets Obama and his socialists get whatever they want, so that they own the whole thing. Let their administration collapse and we can rebuild with new elections and the stripping away of government largesse.

Because media such as “Hot Air” keep giving them free publicity…

I don’t mind that Starbucks are commies, but their coffee is just excrement. The beans are no good and any the brewed stuff they sell always tastes burned.

I got one of those cups with Come Together written on it the other day. It was pre-written, already on the cup. They make it sound like the people making the coffee are writing Come Together on the cups.
Nah, that won’t work. The idiot public will still believe whatever goes wrong is the Republicans’ fault. The media and the Democrats will make them believe it. What the Republican party needs is a strong, charismatic leader. There’s really no one out there now who can speak on behalf of conservatives and be heard.
