“Once you’ve met that child, that’s your child”
In Oakland, California, the news from Russia has Lease Wong holding her little girl especially tightly. She and her husband, Marty, arrived home from Russia about a month ago with their newly adopted daughter, Brianna, who is now 23 months old.
“I think she knows she has a family,” said Lease Wong, who owns a toy store. “I have to think of all those other children. They’re losing their opportunity for a family.”
As Wong spoke, the girl chattered away in the background.
Those are sounds that Kim and Robert Summers are desperate to hear. They traveled to Russia in August to meet the boy who they call Preston – he’s known as Stanislav in Russia – then returned to Russia earlier this month to continue the adoption process. They had expected to go back to Russia in January to bring the boy home to New Jersey.
At their home in New Jersey, a stroller for the red-headed 21-month-old sits in the dining room and his crib is already partially assembled.

putin seems to have gotten with the d’s here to always ‘hold the children hostage’ on everything they all do to sway opinion?
This is sick in so many ways, but expecially for those poor kids who will not have a life at all in russia! I feel so sorry for the people here in the US who wanted to give a child a loving home.

Americans and Canadians are the one’s adopting the kids with special needs (and it’s extremely difficult for the Canadians).
This means the children with Down syndrome, spina bifida, CP and other conditions will get to rot in adult mental institutions (from the age of 5 onward) as there will not be anyone to step up and adopt them when the Americans aren’t allowed to.

Russians don’t adopt children. If I hadn’t adopted my girls, they would have ended up like the 40,000 living in the sewers of St Petersburg, turning tricks and taking drugs until they die. My oldest girl, an intelligent and wonderful woman, was locked in a mental institution because she didn’t answer the interivew questions readily.
To have no pity for these citizens of his shows what a horrible, wretched piece of filth Putin is. The fact that none in Russia seem compelled to call him on his actions shows an evil as bad as those who just watched the Nazis without taking any action.
Pray for these children and pray that our nation can bring some pressure to bear on Russia because those of us in North America are the only ones willing to take these unwanted children and give them families and love.

A few years back, I met an elderly couple whose daughter had adopted a 12 yr old girl from Russia. Their daughter worked for some woman executive who had originally adopted the girl. The woman was always going out of town and leaving the girl with the daughter. After 1-2 years of this, the daughter and the girl asked her to relinquish parental control and luckily she did and the court had no problem with it. Anyway, everyone was happy, including the grandparents who were thrilled.

Aside from the children’s travesty it is high time that the UN and other azzhats, also Obama, promote that Russia, Mexico, India and the rest of the world take care of their own children.
340 billion a year is spent by the US for illegal immigrants, just for starters.
Indians take flight lessons in the US and their relatives die of leprocy in India. The UN denies that it still exists. I know first hand that it does. Only nuns take care of the ill because the US doesn’t acknowledge its existence.
Wake up entire world. YOU are full of leftist hypocrites who are no more than tyrannical extrimists. It offends humanity and destroyes the children.
