exactly, we are multiple different countries that used to agree on basic core values, so we could stay a “united” collection of states and now thoses core values are no longer agreed upon, which is resulting in a schism that is just making everyone miserable.what is happening now is that you have people who want to keep this country united out of tradition and or power,but neither pervasive political ideology wants to live under the otherones rules. The Blue progressive state are trying to win through the use of immigration they are sending their more progressive minded citizens to the red states and they are protecting more leftist minded illegal aliens all in a effort to gain a insermountable upper-hand against the red states. The Red states are trying to win against the blue state by becoming fiscally and economically reponsible. In a way we are already in a secound civil war, but this one hasn’t risen to the level of armed conflict.
