Piers Morgan is doing gun owners a favor
I was about to dismiss Morgan as just some cheeky limey butting his snout into America’s internal affairs when it occurred to me: He’d done Second Amendment advocates a favor.
For years, I’ve had the sneaking suspicion that so-called gun control advocates don’t want to “control” guns at all. They want guns — and the Second Amendment — gone.
Morgan is one of the few gun control advocates to admit that. Most still insist on going with their lie that they just want assault weapons banned. They don’t want to take away anyone’s guns, they claim.
Oh, really now?

Fine. Let’s have a Constitutional Convention.
But, realize this lefties, once a convention is called, the discussion isn’t limited to just the 2nd amendment. We’ll also toss in there a balanced budget amendment, term limits and several dozen other changes.
You ready for that vote in each of the states libs?

He sure is, heh, heh.

Marxists, including Dear Liar (charter of negative liberties) don’t like the Bill of Rights or the Constitution in general. If they could, they would get rid of them.

No he’s not. We laugh at this silliness, but I think the lesson we should keep reminding ourselves is that these silly people with silly ideas have power, and they are serious in advocating for what they want, AND they have the ability pursuade enough love information voters to vote how they want.
So we should take Piers Morgan incredibly seriously, and instead of laughing at him, do what the left does to people on the right — everything possible to destroy his argument, his character, and his career. We need to start fighting fire with fire instead of laughing off the “nut jobs” who, it turns out, run the asylum that is the democrat party /media complex

What do you mean if they could? They can and in many cases, they have. Our rights our weakened daily to the point where the constitution is absolutely meaningless.
Ask someone who’s been subjected to a no knock raid, a stop and frisk, sent to jail for producing a movie about mohammed, etc., how they feel about the bill of rights and how well it works. Or simply ask anyone who owns a gun — the wording of the second amendment is very clear, and does not allow for “reasonable restrictions.” If we, as society, feel restrictions are necessary, they should be uniform and fair and go through the amendment process to amend the second amendment. If not, ANY infringment on gun ownership is in clear violation of the constitution.

Uh, gee – only a “sneaking suspicion”? “Gun Control” has ALWAYS been about eliminating the Second Amendment – and everyone knows it.

Gun control is just one step on the path of People Control.
We can’t allow these Knuckle Draggers weapons can we?
They might not submit to rule by the ‘Educated Elite’ that has been their goal since Woodrow Wilson’s time.

Instead of amending the Constitution let’s amend Morgan’s visa.
Send him home. We have enough native idiots. No need to import them.
countrybumpkin on December 28, 2012 at 5:13 PM
Piers Morgan is just trolling ala Westboro and dupes are totally falling for it.
The right wing blogosphere should bill him for all of this PR work.
