Fiscal cliff stalemate: 36% blame Democrats, 44% blame GOP
Most voters still want President Obama and Congress to avoid the “fiscal cliff” of big tax hikes and automatic across-the-board spending cuts scheduled to kick in next Tuesday, but fewer than ever think a deal is likely. Voters tend to blame congressional Republicans more than the president for the impasse.
Sixty-two percent (62%) of Likely U.S. Voters think Congress and the president should stop the tax increase and spending cuts totaling more than $500 billion from going into effect on January 1. The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that just 18% disagree, while 20% more are not sure.

100% of folks with a clue blame the low info tards known as 2012 Obama voters…
hillsoftx on December 27, 2012 at 12:45 PM
I guess the MSM is falling down on the job.
How did that 36% blaming Democrats happen?
jaydee_007 on December 27, 2012 at 12:45 PM
None of this matter. Eventually everyone will be blames, and that includes Obama. Americans are too busy entertaining themselves to understand what is truly going on, it’s why the polls on public policy often contradict themselves and why when the fit hits the shan, they eventually blame everybody, including the President.
Daemonocracy on December 27, 2012 at 12:50 PM
Well now that our arrogant anti-American forked tongue snake bho(I won) is back in dc, the blame will be 24/7 from bho that the r’s are the problem! bho/d’s are NEVER the problem per bho/d’s!

Actually that’s not bad considering the general level of ignorance in the country. Now if we only had a spokesperson who could articulate… (sound of crickets chirping)
rhombus on December 27, 2012 at 12:52 PM
It’s never Obama’s fault of course.
mrscullen on December 27, 2012 at 1:07 PM
I can’t blame Democrats because their leader is black and that would be racist.
The Notorious G.O.P on December 27, 2012 at 1:08 PM
Hey you nimrod 44%ers – the 2001/2003 tax cuts only passed because Republicans wanted them.
This country is lost to these morons.

Our country is finished….

While in the Senate did Obama vote on extending the tax rates, and if so, how did he vote?

unskew this.

Eh, close enough. Over the cliff we go!
Chuck Schick on December 27, 2012 at 1:39 PM
Yep, said this many times before and this just proves it. We need some kind of deal even if it means getting rolled. The outcome NOT doing something and letting it all go over will hurt the republicans for years to come because this will be said as “those evil republicans let those rates go up on everyone because they wanted to protect the RICH!!!!”
We all know that the class warfare plays o so well with the public atm… giving a tax hike could save some face.

Obama Flukes the land.
The leftists’ heads get chopped off first. Dictators absolutely despise weasels. Otherwise they wouldn’t be dictators. It’s something leftists fail to internalize, always until it’s too late.
May you all be blindsided.

history will be the judge. and history, as we all know, is written by liberals.
sesquipedalian on December 27, 2012 at 1:51 PM
The cliff, I hope, will shatter the reality-distortion field the Left have built around their constituencies, to protect them from the real hardships of poverty and taxation. When the 0bamaphones won’t be replaced when you drop them in the toilet, food stamps have become limited to flour and government cheese, and taxes cost the hipsters their jobs and student loans—-then, and only then, will the price of birth control pills and ghey weddings stop being so all-fired important.

Reid has been out there in front of the microphones, upping the rhetoric again, trying to make sure the focus stays on the House. Guess he’s pretty pi$$ed that Boehner threw the ball in his court and now the Dems are going to have to face at least a little more scrutiny. This blame game isn’t going to leave the Dems unscathed.

May it happen. And I will gladly dance on their graves, as they were the ones who destroyed America for good.
Myron Falwell on December 27, 2012 at 1:59 PM
When this country is taken over by Islamofacists and the Chinese, it won’t really matter. America destroyed itself a long time ago. May we not shed any tears.
Myron Falwell on December 27, 2012 at 2:01 PM
Cry me a river.
There’s no escaping Obama’s disastrous economic and debt record. We will always point to it to remind you why your policies fail in real life.

When Daddy is laid off and the tax bill comes due, Sesqui and other basement-dwellers will be told, “Get a job, any job, or get out of our basement!” When this happens, and there are no fundraising jobs with the nonprofits, or social networking guru gigs with the leftist political groups left, it’s time to say hi to the Golden Arches. Personally, I’m lovin’ it.
Sekhmet on December 27, 2012 at 2:03 PM
The majority of Americans proved on November 6 that facts don’t matter. They are more interested in what’s in it for them, and turn to Socialist dogma like a narcotic.
Binders, Big Bird and bayonets triumphed over reason and logic. That cannot be understated.

If they do that, they won’t be the kee-yoot widdle poor people into whose mouths we have to shove the money we earn for great justice, now would they?
Sekhmet on December 27, 2012 at 2:35 PM
The numbers are close enough not to matter. Conservative districts will not kick out a conservative Republican no matter what happens, and in the end (over time) Obama will take the blame by a slight majority. House members are not elected by national elections, presidents are. So if anything it will be a wash, maybe a few swing districts will be lost at worst, but nothing major.
The GOP does need batter and stronger leadership. Ones who can follow what the NRA just did.
