You know how our side is always saying, “Why, if a Republican/conservative did that…?” Well, if it had been a Republican/conservative in this case, true enough, he’d be in deep trouble – but we’d all be saying he shouldn’t be. Just, er, saying.

There are two possible reasons to claim he shouldn’t be prosecuted.

1) It’s acceptable to break the law for a “good” reason… like to make a point in an argument.

But defending your home, family and property aren’t a good reason like winning a debate?

Ok… that failed.

2) The Rule of Law should NEVER be applied equally, and Journalists should be allowed to violate the law on a whim without any repercussions because they’re better than us and we need a caste system with different rights for different people.

What? That’s pretty much the only argument he’s making.

Would he want ANYONE with an unloaded illegal magazine should be allowed off, only loaded ones should be illegal? No… so he’s claiming THIS person should be above the law, but not most people.

Not seeing it.
