Will gun control push sideline left’s other agenda items?
Obama, who won 71 percent of the Latino vote, said during his first news conference after winning reelection that he expected to have a comprehensive legislative bill introduced in Congress “very soon after my inauguration” on Jan. 20.
But that was before a gunman killed 26 people, including 20 children, at Sandy Hook Elementary School on Dec. 14, prompting Obama to declare that he will use all the powers of his office to reduce gun violence. Last week, the president appointed Vice President Biden to head a commission to develop new proposals that Obama will “push without delay” in January.
Adding further complications to the timetable over the White House’s immigration strategy is the deadlocked negotiations over the looming “fiscal cliff” that could drag into the new year. Asked last week about Obama’s increasingly bloated agenda, White House press secretary Jay Carney declined to rank priorities.

Perhaps obama and his libs can combine all of their top agenda priorities?
- GUN ownership by whites causes GLOBAL WARMING!
- GUN VIOLENCE can be reduced by increasing the number of white ABORTIONS performed in the U.S., by reducing the white population!
- Granting amnesty to illegals would increase the legal non-white population of the U.S. and there by reduce GUN VIOLENCE by crazy white dudes!
- FREE BIRTH CONTROL allows more time for worry-free ho sex and less time for whites to plan violent gun attacks!
- Increased muslim outreach and state-sponsored vilification of Christianity can reduce GUN VIOLENCE by evil white Christians.

No. Unlike the GOP, the Left can walk and chew gum at the same time. They can work on Climate Change, Gay Marriage, Comprehensive Immigration Reform, Higher Taxes, AND Gun Control.
Unlike our party which has to tell SoCons or Fiscal Con’s “Sorry not this year, we are only going to try to do one thing.”

..but ObamaCare DID ultimately get passed AND the SCOTUS ruled it was constitutional. A similar set of circumstances could possibly erode the Second Amendment.

Let’s not forget that owning a firearm is a Second Amendment recognized Right.
That’s one reason many will stay focused on it rather than all the other issues that will slip by in Obama’s slide to tyranny.
