I’m not so sure about that. I don’t think Michael Steele did. I think he pandered to them like infants.

Libertarian radio host Larry Elder has a message for the GOP: If the party has any hope of attracting a significant percentage of the black vote, it must speak to that community honestly — and as adults.

The GOP always has. It’s the democrats who treat them like ignorant children…. and sadly it works well for them.

I do that everyday. I’m not a racist liberal.

The full package of all available welfare benefits is better than having a $60,000 a year job.
If we want to eliminate “poverty” we need to stop making it so attractive and comfortable.
It truly is a lifestyle choice that is aggressively pushed upon people by government agencies that exist to provide it.

The solution would be to stop trying to change people’s behavior but to shut off the spigot.

This is inflammatory stuff, the LA riots in the 90′s started over less.

If that message had not been cancelled, the GOP base might not have sat out the election, and the election may not have been lost. We begged them to take the fight to Obama, but we were begging to wusses. Deja vu 2008.

Sure, it is always Republicans who have to explain truth and logic to people who are not even willing to listen. How about someone from their own community tells them these things ?

If blacks cannot understand this simple fact on their own, no one can make them understand that. No one .
