Poll: 72% of Republicans fearful about their own lives in 2013
Rising fears are concentrated among Republicans, peaking at 72 percent and up a remarkable 52 percentage points from 2006. In 2008, after Obama’s victory, Republicans split 44 to 54 percent between hope and fear.
Democrats are far more positive, with 75 percent hopeful about their personal lives, exactly the same as 2008. Even during George W. Bush’s presidency, majorities of Democrats expressed a hopeful outlook. Independents splits about evenly between hope and fear.
In separate questions about the coming year, the public divides narrowly between optimism and pessimism about the state of the economy, the way things are going in the country overall and chances for bipartisan agreement in Washington.

A certain quote from Einstein seems appropriate here..

Paranoid white oldsters, sucking on the Fox News fear teat. No surprises there.

lostmotherland on December 24, 2012 at 3:02 PM
And the left’s bigotry displays its ugly self right out of the gate!
CurtZHP on December 24, 2012 at 3:16 PM
Damn you’re stupid.
darwin on December 24, 2012 at 3:17 PM
What ever have we to fear, when our societal betters in Washington and Hollywood go about with armed bodyguards but seek to deny the hoi polloi that same right?

I’d like to thank all the clowns who gave these pollsters EXACTLY what they were looking for: an opportunity to talk about how fearful Republicans are. Have more courage AND common sense from now on, please. It’s called defiance in the face of tyranny.

Hahahahahahahahaha
What dumb asses. People are dropping out of the work force like flies. Unemployment is historic, and there’s absolutely nothing on the horizon that looks like improvement. The unemployment rate would be higher if not for the massive hiring of even more federal employees.
These morons are pinning their hopes on government providing for them … but when the government is in the process of killing the private sector, the very people that give the government money, there is no hope. They’re hoping for something that will not happen.
darwin on December 24, 2012 at 3:27 PM
With good reason, based on all the threats.
dogsoldier on December 24, 2012 at 3:31 PM
Yeah, because there’s no reason at all to believe that a man steeped in Saul Alinski and whose book was ghost-written by Bill Ayers would ever entertain the thought of rounding up his ideological opponents and sending them to reeducation camps. /sarc

Well, I guess we’ll see who’s right over the next few years, won’t we lostmotherland? Oh, and for the record, I’m 28.
ramesees on December 24, 2012 at 3:57 PM
Like I said. Sucking on the FOX News teat. You need to get out of your armed, paranoid bunker a bit more. You know, mix with normal folks.
lostmotherland on December 24, 2012 at 3:59 PM
Too young for this BS, to be sure.
lostmotherland on December 24, 2012 at 4:00 PM
You need a new handle. Maybe something a bit more ironic.
lostmotherland on December 24, 2012 at 4:03 PM
Well lost, its twice that you now mentioned teat. A bit obsessed, ain’t you? Maybe you gotta get laid to diffuse your fixation. Just sayin……. your phraseology and sentence construction betrays sexual problems and a momma fixation. Nothing personal. IMO.
tommy71 on December 24, 2012 at 4:18 PM
I figure by the end of 2013 I’ll end up unemployed or in a government re-education camp.
50/50 it goes either ay.
wildcat72 on December 24, 2012 at 4:19 PM
I bet the positive sentiment of democrat party members in good standing will be well below 50% by Christmas 2013. Most likely before June 2013.
jukin3 on December 24, 2012 at 4:40 PM
Like I said … you’re stupid, or willfully ignorant.
That’s the only explanation.
darwin on December 24, 2012 at 4:41 PM
What do you expect when the american librul wants your head on a stick, when they want you to die in a ditch, and then they want to ban your only means of self protection. Just read the troll comments at Hot Air.
Old Country Boy on December 24, 2012 at 5:05 PM
Because many of us face the truth.
No other society has been able to debase its currency as the USA has and survived. We add zeros to electronic databases to float markets, we buy our own debt with “bonds” and “IOU’s” that will never be paid, we import races that share none of our values or honor or past that steal jobs from the indigenous White population and whose children prey on the productive and poison our cities with crime. Europe does the same, only with the added horror of Persia/Islam, an enemy of 1400 years. The inventions and creations of the productive, even the very persons themselves we export to other lands while embracing stupid ideas such as “Free Trade” and “open borders” and high taxation which only speed their departure.
It is by our own hand we destroy what is good here. The deluded and those who vote for their race or for more ETB cards see only more goodies and openly threaten violence on those who produce, yet the ones who face reality are concerned for their safety.
Who is the more deluded?
Bulletchaser on December 24, 2012 at 5:06 PM
I like how you capitalize ‘White.’ Is that as in ‘White Power’?
You, I’d say.
lostmotherland on December 24, 2012 at 5:17 PM
And racist. Typical liberal. Not even a good troll.
Dr. Frank Enstine on December 24, 2012 at 5:20 PM
I love my race. It is a proud and storied one, reaching from the microscopic to the Moon. Why should I not capitalize that of which I am proud? The NAACP or La Raza or any other race does this as a matter of course. But this is an odd point on which to become deflected.
You have answered none of my points above.
Bulletchaser on December 24, 2012 at 5:22 PM
No, it’s a self righteous, elitist, liberal troll that thinks we are stupid bigots. I live in MA and I am surrounded by these types of smarmy idiots that think they are so smart and sophisticated. What they don’t get, because they are to stupid to get it, is that they are nothing but parrots without an original thought in their heads.
