David Gregory more of a fan of armed security in schools than thought
The NBC host would go on the rest of the segment to suggest that armed guards might not be effective in preventing mass murders at school. Which is perhaps an interesting theoretical argument.
But when it comes to Gregory’s own kids, however, they are secured every school day by armed guards.
The Gregory children go to school with the children of President Barack Obama, according to the Washington Post. That school is the co-ed Quaker school Sidwell Friends.
According to a scan of the school’s online faculty-staff directory, Sidwell has a security department made up of at least 11 people. Many of those are police officers, who are presumably armed.

Well, he is gay you know.
Which means the difference between what he says he supports and what he actually does is beyond reproach.
Why is Gregory’s children being protected by armed guards at school ok, but not for your kids?
His kids are better than yours.

He is lawbreaker, too. He violated DC’s magazine law. arrest him. He is a white male.

I asked him on Twitter yesterday if he was going to ask his children’s school to remove the armed security. No response. Weird.

Most major media personalities enjoy private security themselves. I suspect that many of them negotiate it into their employment contracts so that they don’t even have to foot the bill.
Carry firearms is like having to drive yourself around. If you’re honest you’d rather have someone do both for you, personally. Alas, most people lack the means to make that a reality so they have to do it themselves.

Most people are hypocrites – none as blatant as the TV/media hacks and especially Obama.
Luxury and protection for me, but not for thee.
Your kids don’t count.

Typical Liberal: Do as I say… Not as I do. My favorite thing to do to my Liberal friends is to check out their Facebook profiles. You won’t find any picture of them living the “Liberal” life style. Best part is when you look at their list of friends and notice they are usually 97% white. BIG HYPOCRITES

Honestly, if I had the means–enough money where I wouldn’t have to ask the price–I would still personally take care of my own security and drive my own ride.
And I would still ask the price, too.

There is no right to privacy in the new fascist America.

Curious how the NRA guy could go on TV and not have this information handy to beat Gregory with. He had to know the question was coming.

On the issue of guns, it seems a ny newspaper has posted the names and addresses of all hand gun owners in certain areas!

Heard a guy on the radio say that of course the findings of any blue ribbon panel by Biden is going to step all over our constitutional rights – the 2nd Amendment and the right to privacy of the mentally ill. The issue that most all people agree on – increased school security, they will never touch, since the real plan is for the left to control people.

And his reasoning was silly, arguing that because it didn’t work at Columbine, it wouldn’t work anywhere. By that logic, we may as well get rid of all police. And seat belts. And bicycle helmets. And on and on and on….
