Are you implying that this meant that the warning to Mr. Phelps in the Mission Impossible shows was operating? If the government would have supplied assets to rescue Stevens, then it would be an admission that we should not have been there?

Might well be a good read. Definitely won’t be as sexy as Zero Dark whatever.
