To get it irrigated would cost me 300 dollars since I just started working and wasn’t eligible for health insurance. I naturally balked at the cost and took care of the problem myself with some over the counter medication.

So why go to the ER for a problem you could treat yourself? Do you see the problem here?

In Canada it wouldn’t cost me a dime.

Then who did it cost?

British Ghoul Care.

The Brits treat their ghouls really well. They give them millions of people to play with to satisfy their sadistic and sick impulses and they support their ghouls completely. I don't think I've ever heard of one nurse, doctor, regulator, or government ghoul in Britain ever being arrested for their despicable and disgusting acts.

But, they put on a great half time show. I missed the patients starving to death in their beds as food was placed two arms' lengths away from them (as a sick tease) during the Olympic show. That part must have been when I got up to get popcorn.

As someone who actually has practical experience with socialized medicine I would be hasty to jump to any conclusion other than this was an example of a horribly run hospital. I went to college in Canada and still remember being shocked not having to pay any money after visiting the emergency room. The upfront premium for foreign students was very reasonable and much cheaper than the US. If I had a medical issue that wasn't an emergency I simply went to the health clinic. Sometimes I would only wait 30 minutes before seeing the doctor.

Now I live in Florida. When I had some earwax impacted against my eardrum from wearing an earplug I went to a clinic. To get it irrigated would cost me 300 dollars since I just started working and wasn't eligible for health insurance. I naturally balked at the cost and took care of the problem myself with some over the counter medication. In Canada it wouldn't cost me a dime. My Canadian friends can't understand all of the fear mongering related to socialized medicine. There're are drawbacks of coarse, and the system is far from perfect. But Canadians spend less per capita than we do and have better health.
