“This was not a vote of no confidence in the Speaker”
“This was not a vote of no confidence in the Speaker,” freshman Rep. Mick Mulvaney (R-S.C.), an opponent of Boehner’s Plan B legislation, said in an interview. “This was a legislative defeat, not a personal defeat.”
Another vocal critic of the Speaker’s proposal, Rep. John Fleming (R-La.), said: “He is my Speaker, and I support him.”…
When asked if Boehner’s Speakership was in trouble, freshman Rep. Austin Scott (R-Ga.) — a conservative in the majority-making class of 2010 — gave a resounding “Hell, no!” to The Hill on Friday morning.
A close friend of the Speaker’s, Sen. Saxby Chambliss (R-Ga.), said he spoke with Boehner and indicated he was holding up well after the defeat.

That’s true. This vote was one of principle that had to go this way, but there was a corollary of no confidence to it that anyone with a brain would identify. Boner is out of control, negotiating against himself (first huge and unforgiveable mistake) and without consulting those he’s allegedly consulting for. The Crybaby Boner needed to be dumped long ago, before he got the chance to run amok in this idiocy (after all, the sequester, itself, was the Crybaby’s handiwork, which he thought was a great giveback by Barky and the dems in order to allow them continued, unfettered, unbudgeted spending on their anti-American and un-Constitutional programs by raising the debt limit for them by another trillion+), but this should certainly be the last straw for even the slow-of-thinking.
Boner has to go. He needs to tossed even before the end of his term – as a statement. He certainly CANNOT be re-elected Weeper of the House. That would be beyond stupid.

Get rid of that worthless “town crier”. He has been an utter embarrassment to Conservatives and couldn’t negotiate a hand job from a prostitute. If he had any honor whatsoever he would step down and go into the history books as the worst Speaker of the House. Anyone who defends that POS can step down with him.
Oh, Merry Christmas!

That was my reaction too. Who wants to risk Boehner’s vindictiveness?
petefrt on December 22, 2012 at 4:23 PM
Really?
This is written like Boehner lost a loved one in a tragedy.
This shows you how deeply they’re entrenched in the “ruling class” mindset.

Well, Obama finally got what he wanted. A GOP civil war.

This has nothing to do with The Indonesian Imbecile. Boner is the one who has attacked the Tea Party that put him in power (in order to stop Barky and the dems, not to collude with them and continue the unbudgeted spending and borrowing, unabated). Boner is the idiot who said that he “understands” the Occupoopers, who didn’t even understand themselves. Boner has brought all of this on himself.
And the loss in 2012 had a lot to do with Boner’s pathetic “leadership” in the House. He’s caved on everything since 2011, done nothing to get rid of ObamaCare and was the genius who brought us the sequester – as the giveback (LOL) by Barky and the dems in order to raise the debt limit by another trillion+ and allow the feral government to continue its assault on America as Barky and the Dems have directed it.

Most Al Qaeda kill more often other Muslims who do not live up to the purity test over run of the mill infidels. There is nothing faster than a knight of the long knives, on ones own brothers because they are not pure enough when pure test is not even known.
Cut everything but this list of 200+ items. And if you cut one item on this list or do not cut everything else at the first chance or 12th chance, you are out.
