Some how, some way, some are convinced that only if someone who spoke like they were on AM radio, advocated abolishing the Dept. of Education, Agriculture, Health and Human services, the environmental protection agency, privatizing social security and “withering medicare on the vine” until all that’s left for people is private insurance, and that if they did so while serving up the reddest meat they can piece together, that somehow it will translate into a landslide and suddenly all of America will flock to their side because finally, FINALLY, they were conservative ENOUGH!

It’s called being completely out of touch and disengaged from the attitudes of the American people.

But you know, it’s just because the American electorate is too stupid if they don’t embrace REAL Americanism! Right?!

If you’re ordering a pizza and one has a topping of shiit and pickles and the other one cheese and mushrooms…you shouldn’t have to “fight” in order to make the sale for the cheese and mushrooms.

You have to have that “vision” thing. This is not a new idea in politics. Charisma and a Big Idea go a long way in capturing the public imagination and Mitt and Ryan lacked those things.
