Man accused of desecrating Koran is burned alive by Pakistani mob
“He was alone in the mosque during the night,” Memon said. “There was no one else there to do this terrible thing.”
Villagers beat the man then handed him over to police. A few hours later, a crowd of around 200 stormed the police station, dragged the man out and set him on fire, said Usman Ghani, the senior superintendent of police in Dadu district.

Cat Stevens: “well, it’s written right here, the penalty for desecrating the Koran is death”.

I would not expect any better of that country. But what about the guy on trial in the UK for tearing pages out of his own koran & then tossing it on the ground?

When people accuse the US of being a place where “things are valued more than people”, turn their heads over the Middle East and see what they think.

Yeah…but other than that it was mostly peaceful.

Hey even Bloddy Mary gave heretics a trial first. And you could recant your heresy and avoid getting toasty.

Our media watches and takes note on behavior modification necessary to avoid a similar fate.

no reason to get upset over this, everyone. instead, we should be open-minded and tolerant of pakistani culture!! =)

I desecrate the koran at every opportunity.
I’d love to release a line of toilet paper that has some amount of pork content in it’s composition that has the koran printed on it.
I bet it’d sell.
I also bet that Obama would have me in prison for some trumped up charge or another to prove the future doesn’t belong to those who insult the “prophet” mohammed. Which I recognize as a prophet even less than I recognize Obama as an American citizen and a legitimate president.
wildcat72 on December 22, 2012 at 12:50 PM
Just what was his YouTube video that set the mob off was about. It had to be a recording of the book burning. As that is what will cause people to kill not what the book he is to have burned has written in it.

So if a trip to Pakistan is on your bucket list, make sure it is the last item on the agenda.
BDavis on December 22, 2012 at 12:51 PM
What’s even sadder is it won’t be long before you see whole parts of the former United States that are full on sharia states. Such as the Minnesota-Michigan region…

davidk on December 22, 2012 at 1:00 PM
All you have to do to know that the alleged god allah condones this and other evils is to actually study the “holy” koran.
Enemies of the evil force islam needs to study it and be just as conversant at it as we who oppose socialism and communism must study Marx and Alynsky.

Hey, Pakistan is a 21st century country that has nuclear tipped missiles. Now that is a damn scary thought.
SC.Charlie on December 22, 2012 at 1:16 PM
muslims are 7th century savages. To give them the status of 17th century savages would be to credit them for 1,000 years of progress they never made.
wildcat72 on December 22, 2012 at 1:18 PM
Actually it’s a 7th century country (and backward for the 7th century at that when compared to the Roman and Persian civilizations they attacked) with nuclear tipped missiles.
We’d be better off if they were neanderthals with nuclear tipped missiles since neanderthals would have no idea how to use them.
wildcat72 on December 22, 2012 at 1:20 PM
Allah is a pagan death god, and the currency to get into his “paradise” of a demonic whorehouse, is the blood and suffering of infidels. Murdering innocent people is the only sure way to get in, the more the better.
Rebar on December 22, 2012 at 1:24 PM
Is there anything more PEACEFUL than being burned alive?
Pork-Chop on December 22, 2012 at 1:25 PM
Meanwhile in Pakistan the man who helped us get Osama bin Laden is rotting away in jail. And, there are probably more Taliban and Al Qaeda in Pakistan than anywhere else. But, of course the Middle East seems to be filled with religious fundamentalists/zealots who believe that God wrote the Koran and it must be strictly followed.
SC.Charlie on December 22, 2012 at 1:39 PM
Perhaps you’re right. By the early 17th century the accused in England at least got a trial.

Of course not, all gods are equal! Except for that ‘Jesus’ one that started all those crusades and wants to impose Christian Sharia on my sister Slutty McSlutson.

The Salem witch trails occurred in the 1690s. However, I don’t believe those convicted were burnt to death. As for Mormans I did find this little bit of unsettling history

@wildcat72 If this sounds condescending, please forgive me. Your first comment on this thread is highly offensive to the Islamic community. So please be careful bout your comments, even if its just online. These crazies are just waiting to take offense. I was born and brought up among them. I know them well, especially their technological prowess. You think they’re barbarians? I disagree. They are much, much worse and their cruelty and spirit of vengeance knows no bounds. Thats why I’m asking you to be careful.

these people have been marrying their cousins for ten centuries. that tree hasn’t branched in a millennium.
think about it.

The link I provided wasn’t about the Salem witch trails, but here’s the work of some 7th century barbarians in 20th century Texas.

That poor man =( burned alive by savages..the religion of war strikes again.. I want CAIR to explain to me how these people aren’t savages!!! aren’t sub-human..Pamela Gellar is 100% right with her ads that have been so heavily criticized by muslims and the media
sadsushi on December 22, 2012 at 2:35 PM
Back a hundred years ago, some 7th century?? savages get pretty pissed when you murder a woman with a blunt object. They changed over time.
Some 7th century savages do worse for drawing a picture. Yesterday. Today and tomorrow. They haven’t changed.
Why do you suppose that is?
