Obama uses Clinton’s playbook to exploit the Sandy Hook shootings
Clinton and his surrogates worked to tie together the GOP, extremism and the violence in Oklahoma City. It was a big success; years later, both Clinton and his GOP adversaries regarded Oklahoma City as a turning point, one in which Clinton did serious damage to his political opposition…
Obama’s approach repulsed more than a few Republicans. “Craven and offensive” was how one senior Senate aide described it. “Totally inappropriate,” said another. Yet another declined to comment because his words would be unprintable. But veterans on Capitol Hill have seen the tactic before.
Is it exploitation for Obama to use the Newtown killings to push for gun control measures? No. Those measures, whether wise or not, are a direct and legitimate reaction to what happened in Connecticut.
But the fiscal cliff, taxes, stimulus and a whole range of issues that have nothing to do with Newtown and everything to do with Obama’s political fortunes? That is classic exploitation, Clinton-style — and now Obama-style.

Exploitation at the highest levels of government to do an end-run around democracy and achieve ideological goals. And the press gives him a pass because they’re in the same business.

Obama’s proposals for gun control will only serve to increase crime, with the burden falling on the weakest and most vulnerable members of our society. The incidents of rape will skyrocket!
Why are progressives turning this into a war on women? Why do they want more women to be raped every year?
Women have a right to control their own bodies. We should be adding a provision to Obamacare mandating insurance policies provide full coverage for the purchase of a firearm and training on it’s use, and a $10 deductible on the purchase of ammunition.

He’s a horrible president and an even worse human being. Yet his divisive politics and destruction of the country will continue unabated because he has no opposition. The Republican Party is in disarray, unable to pull together as a cohesive force, because of the ill-advised actions of the stubborn, inflexible, sanctimonious TrueCons. People so self-absorbed and unrealistic that they would be screaming at their supposed hero Reagan for believing that half a loaf is better than none.
The TC’s hated Romney and viewed him as another Obama. Fine, you’ve got Barry for another four years. Enjoy the new gun control laws, unfettered immigration, more leftwing SC Justices, the crappy economy, rampant “social justice” and wealth redistribution, and the eventual bankruptcy of the country.
At least Honda and his ilk will have their “principles” to keep them warm. I fear for my kids and grandkids and wonder what kind of future they will have.
