CNN
Poll: 53% say GOP should compromise more, 41% say Dems should
Fifty-three percent of those surveyed say they view the policies of the GOP as too extreme, up 17 points from two years ago. Only 37% say they view the polices of the Democratic Party as too extreme.
It probably doesn’t help that House Speaker John Boehner, who’s leading GOP fiscal cliff negotiations with the president, is held in fairly low regard, particularly in comparison to Obama. According to the poll, 34% of the public approves of how the top Republican in the House handling his job. By contrast, the president’s approval rating stands at 52%.

CNN was more circumspect with their headline: Are GOP policies too extreme?
Totally impartial and unbiased, obviously.
MY POLL: Is the MSM in this country a bunch of butt kissing sycophant stenographers for Democrats?
Please post your impartial and unbiased answers here.

Things are looking up! It used to be such common knowledge, owing to the their command of media, that Republicans were the ones that needed to compromise that they didn’t even bother with polls such as this. Now progs have to rely on polls with measly 53 to 41 divides to continue pushing their nonsensically failed policies.
Keep up the good work getting the facts out, folks. We’ve decisively won the battle on gun control, now let’s kick a$$ twice as hard on the fiscal issues.

We cannot survive this stupid an electorate.

Not so much stupid as malignantly malinformed.

The media is the root of our problems.
Why can ghettos organize but conservatives can’t?
Organize. Fight. Take-over and reace the media.

83 percent have no idea who John Boehner is.

The GOP has got to turn it around. Another CNN poll reveals that people think the pubs are most extreme and radical, not the dems. Its all about messaging. Whenever the prog pols speak out, they talk bout the pubs being ‘extremists’ and ‘radical’. When was the last time you heard those same words uttered by a pub regarding dems? The old chestnuts ‘socialist’, ‘commies’ and ‘statists’ don’t work anymore. Its passe. Work more on messaging.

Oh, so poll conspiracies didn’t die with the 2012 election?
What a world-class intellect.

Saying no for four years and bragging about making the country fail has consequences.

The reason why the Democrats are so effective is that once people get hooked on the “government cheese” (government benefits and entitlements), they can’t stop. Thus, any move toward spending cuts or entitlement reform meets with strong resistance.
However, telling people that all the world’s problems can be solved by taking “just a bit more” from “the rich” is easy. After all, most people aren’t rich–just a few are. And hey, rich people have plenty of money. It’s not like they’ll starve if you take another 5% of their income.
As conservatives, we know all of this is garbage. But that’s not how most people think. So yes, we are screwed as a country. We better start looking for a new country to move to–in about 20 years, you won’t want to live here if you are white, a Republican, and middle to upper middle class.

In this day and age, when even people on food stamps have iPhones, the media is not entirely responsible for the ignorance of most people. They are ignorant by choice. The trolls that infest this site are living proof.

Another example of the “Main stream media propaganda effect”.
As the media reports so shall the public lean.

We need to close the Democrat Media Employment Agency in part by using our majority and control of the House Ethics Committee to forbid the hiring of media employees for a period of five years from when they leave said media company. When a gig covering the political beat can no longer easily transition to a gig in a given journalist’s favorite Democrat Congressman’s office, we will see if they can be more objective.
