Christie on a future run: I’ll be ready
Chris Christie knew he “wasn’t ready” to make a presidential bid this year, and whether he decides to make a 2016 run, he says he’ll be more prepared in the future.
“I wasn’t ready to run for President this time,” the New Jersey Republican governor said Tuesday on “Conversations at NJPAC.” “If it comes, I know that I will be more ready for it than I would have been this year.” …
“We lost two national elections in a row,” the Republican governor said. “We’re not connecting with Americans on the issues that matter most to them. We haven’t had the best candidates. I believe that Mitt Romney is a good man. I was out supporting him before anyone else, but he simply didn’t connect with Americans.”

Good luck, CRISTie. You can’t win the nomination without the base and they’re not too happy with you right now.

Christie…running
Hahahahahahahahaha
I assume under the liberal banner. I will not vote if he is the 2016 candidate. Furthermore, I am finished with the republican party.

I turned down an invitation to a Christie Town Hall today. The fat bastard is dead to me.
Naturally Curly on December 20, 2012 at 11:51 AM
I’ll be ready to stay home on election day for the first time in decades.

With a LONG history of siding with, pandering to and HIRING islamic radicals and terrorists, his recent infatuation with obama and his new found support (and endorsements) from obama’s unionists, it’s hard to imagine that Christie would have any meaningful support to run for the GOP nomination. However, judging from his recent actions, it would appear that Christie is preparing to switch parties.
Pork-Chop on December 20, 2012 at 11:56 AM
Umm.. Christie is delusional and actually thinks he’ll be nominated after frenching Obama and costing Romney the election.
Illinidiva on December 20, 2012 at 11:56 AM
He should run, and run hard. Run up a flight of stairs until his left arm starts tingling.

This guy just may have the magical mix – he do some liberal things – mix it up with conservative things – and there you go – ‘Bob’s your Uncle’.
He might be something special
jake-the-goose on December 20, 2012 at 12:00 PM
Really? I would’ve gone just to give him a piece of my mind.
Doughboy on December 20, 2012 at 12:01 PM
He was on Barbara Walters’ 10 Most Fascinating People list this year. She pretty much told him that he’s too fat and unhealthy to run for president. Instead of arguing about how many hours he works every day, I wish he had pulled a banana cream pie out of his briefcase and ruined her makeup job.
Ladysmith CulchaVulcha on December 20, 2012 at 12:03 PM
If the GOP picks him then Generic Democrat will win all 57 states plus Indonesia and Kenya.
CorporatePiggy on December 20, 2012 at 12:04 PM
And Barbara Walters is too stupid to have a television show, but that doesn’t stop her.

I thought about it, but decided to wait and give him a piece of my mind on Election Day.
Naturally Curly on December 20, 2012 at 12:05 PM
But he’s a moderate. We need a moderate to win! GOP moderates never lose!

Everyone here just beats their chest and says they won’t vote for the guy.
Trust me – when the chips are down and you’re facing Hillary – or some other Socialist Dim … you’ll vote for him. You’ll vote for him because you are a Conservative slave and actually believe that the rationale “vote for the lesser of two evils” actually works.
What actually works – is to vote for the Socialist and send a message to the GOP Ayatollahs that until they get their act together – they aren’t winning any elections.

Dear Repubs,
2012 was the last election that I will vote for someone because he is “our” nominee or the “only one who can beat the Democrat.” Good luck running Christie…
melle1228 on December 20, 2012 at 12:14 PM
I still think he’d make a damn fine president.
nicktjacob on December 20, 2012 at 12:14 PM
And I think the media will have a field day with him. And he can’t effectively sell Republican and Conservative ideals, because he doesn’t believe them himself. Like I said, good luck with Christie..
melle1228 on December 20, 2012 at 12:15 PM
They’d get the message and merge with CPUSA.

Everyone needs to bookmark this article written in 2010 since we’ll need to reference it on an ongoing basis apparently.
Here’s a teaser:
As the gubernatorial campaign commenced in June last year, Michael Symons of the Asbury Park Press reported that:
Chris Christie supports the assault weapons ban and all current gun laws. He opposes attempts to permit conceal and carry laws in New Jersey – hardly the NRA position.

Good grief… the sad thing is there are probably enough low information voters in the GOP to nominate him….
davek70 on December 20, 2012 at 12:39 PM
There you go again Honda. Not everyone voted for McVain, even fewer voted for Mittwit, rest assure, even more–having learned the lessons of 2006, 08, 10 and now 12 that the GOPe will betray you–will not vote for the fatman nor any other RINO squish. LIB

2008 – Voted for Gov Palin (Not McCain)
2012 – Voted for Gary Johnson
2016 – It isn’t going to be Christie

I won’t be ready for you, no matter how long you take.
The only way he’ll win is via the Democratic ticket.

People outside of NJ hate your guts right now.
How long that lasts depends on the success of Obama’s second term.
I still believe Christie goes Democrat eventually.
Moesart on December 20, 2012 at 1:57 PM
I wouldn’t give Christie my vote if he was running against Attilla the Hun.
Pompous puffball
Christie got the convention opener and spent it talking about himself in the highest terms.
Just before the election, he practically makes a baby with Obama on national tv, and helped swing the wavering voters who needed a reason to vote a second time for Obama, right back to Obama
I wouldn’t give him the power.
