PRATT: Your violent crime rate is higher than ours as is the violent crime rate in Australia. America is not the Wild West that you are depicting. We only have the problems in our cities, and unhappily, in our schools where people like you have been able to get laws put on the books that keep people from being able to defend themselves.
I honestly don’t understand why you would rather have people be victims of a crime than be able to defend themselves. It’s incomprehensible.

I’ve been pretty good at silencing these liberals by using the following: A woman being raped has a right to defend herself; an African-American about to be lynched has a right to defend themselves, and elderly man going to the store for his wife has a right to defend themselves…
They usually shut up since you’re able to frame it in a context they understand. Although we all know that the 2nd Amendment is about giving a just citizenry the right to defend themselves against a government that has grown oppressive and tyrannical.

Why do they keep comparing stats for the US to individual countries in Europe like Great Britain? The US has 6 times the population of GB. If you compare the US against all of Europe we still have many more murders by guns but we don’t have many more murders overall. All gun bans have accomplished is to shift the type of weapon used while disarming law abiding people.

When I’ve watched Morgan I never noticed that he was heavy on fact. Most of the time he’s whining, bleating and beating up on this country.
He has nothing to offer as far as I’m concerned. He not only reminds me of my socialist, Brit relatives whose arrogance combined with stupidity finally wore thin enough for me to ignore them permanently.
I would suggest doing the same to this guy.

Like most liberals Morgan has no use for facts. It’s all about their agenda. If he actually paid attention, he might want to address a new form of violence reported in Denver which is to spray flammable liquid on the target victim and set them on fire.
This is about disarming citizens – not about preventing violence or curbing crime.

The murder rate in the United Kingdom is only 1.2 victims per 100,000. NZ is 0.9, Australia is 1.0. Canada is 1.6. United States is 4.2. The United States murder rate can be divided between victims that are black (17.9) and white (2.9). Probably some of the difference between the murder rate of white Americans and other societies descended from Great Britain is access to guns. People are more likely to survive a knife attack than a shooting. However the important point is the overall difference is rather small and both are historically low. The difference between the black murder rate, which is close to the rate among third world countries (Congo 30.8, Central African Republic 29.3, Equatorial Guinea 20.7, Sudan 24.8, Gabon 13.8) reflects a broken culture. The fact that the destruction of black culture and its descent into essentially third world status in a first world country is tragic but “undiscuss-able.”

If our strength truly is in our diversity – and if they’re going to make a comparison – wouldn’t it be better to see how, for instance, English on English violent crime compares to English-American on English-American violent crime? Wouldn’t that be, not only fairer, but more instructive?

You guys – and gals – have to watch this video. It’s about a young lady that was at the Luby’s Cafeteria when that murder crashed through the window with his car and started killing. It was back when Texas didn’t have the CCL law. She lays it down, especially at the end, for the Senate hearing. It shows Chuck Schumer smirking. Watch the whole thing, and enjoy the last few seconds.

9,000 US citizens are killed each year either by DUI or Murder from Illegal Aliens – where is the rush to git rid of Illegal Aliens?
I suppose killing kids a few at a time by car is OK, even when it adds up.
My suggestion: put a wall safe in the classrooms with trained teachers/staff and allow them to hurl something more than bodies at the next shooter – and there will be more. We don’t teach morals any longer, we don’t teach consequences for bad behavior any more, we don’t believe in God any more. Some may be shocked at the rise in violent crime – I just think that it is a predicable outcome of the choices we have made as a society.
