You mean those 30 people who barely escaped Benghazi?

So, how does this make you feeeeeeeeeel….
Ace ODale on December 19, 2012 at 1:40 PM
Good luck with that. The MSM has stories to tell, decency be damned.
Bitter Clinger on December 19, 2012 at 1:40 PM
Amen. Even publishing the photos of the parents reacting at the site on that day was repugnant. There’s a need to know the facts as they surface, but the press usually takes the “human interest” angle way too far.
KS Rex on December 19, 2012 at 1:42 PM
Good for them. Some things are personal and private, not just something for public consumption. That fact that they feel they have to ask or insist is certainly sad commentary on our society and especially on the media.

Where were you on Friday as the journalists started shoving microphones in children’s faces?
JPeterman on December 19, 2012 at 1:43 PM
Does Newtown have a Stand Your Ground law? If so, does advancing on someone with a black cylindrical object thrusting outwards constitute a threat?
Perspiring minds want to know.
platypus on December 19, 2012 at 1:44 PM
It’s also a reporters right to report on any vultures who decide they have to get a story and bother these poor people.
Dash on December 19, 2012 at 1:44 PM
Where’s the inter agency task force looking at improving the first amendment..? You know the one dealing with vultures and ghouls posing as “journalists”…
d1carter on December 19, 2012 at 1:45 PM
Obama and the media, like vultures, feed on carrion.
Schadenfreude on December 19, 2012 at 1:46 PM
If the mindless, drooling masses didn’t gobble this stuff up, then the “press” wouldn’t be under such pressure do do stuff like this.
UltimateBob on December 19, 2012 at 1:49 PM
Here’s my version of Stand Your Ground when confronted with a vulture editorial in my local paper.
platypus on December 19, 2012 at 1:50 PM
I heard that live on the radio, and couldn’t believe that he invoked the Newtown, CT tragedy to further his political agenda. The bodies are not even cold, and he’s exploiting to for his own gain.
But then again, I shouldn’t really be surprised, huh? He is a shallow, ignorant tool.
UltimateBob on December 19, 2012 at 1:52 PM
That was good. Thanks for sharing.

‘Fast and Furious’…?

Solyndra…?
… Voter fraud?
+$16.3 Trillion in debt…?
… Weapons to Egypt, Libya, and Syria?
Unemployment, food and gas prices…?

The vulture has been feeding on carrion since Friday.

No rights for women in all the Arab ‘Spring’ places
Sleeping with dead wives in Egypt is now legal, for up to 6 hours.
Oama is silent on all.

when there was that horrible shooting of the Amish children a few years ago the media had no one to talk to and within a few days the coverage disappeared. If no one talks they will have to find something else to talk about.
What I find most interesting is that only when little white children ( I am white and pro-choice) get murdered is there the call the call for gun control, every day children are murdered in poor minority neighborhoods and at the hand of abortionists and no one says a peep.

“But people want it” is the same excuse that drug dealers, time share agents, and politicans stealing from my wallet to give to someone else use to justify thier actions.

Frankly it isn’t just the media. It’s time the milking of this tragedy for publicity stopped. I just saw a local news report about a woman selling t-shirts that say “I love Newtown” with the date on it. She’s already raised 5K for charity. Clue to people: Newtown is one of the most affluent towns in the US. There is literally piles of food and flowers, etc that have been sent and are rotting. They don’t need money and certainly don’t need food. Even the University of Connecticut has got into the act and setup a college fund for the children or siblings of those killed. There may be 1 or 2 children of the teachers who need this but it’s doubtful any of the survivors will ever want for college money.
This has become about being seen as doing something good rather than there being a need for it. The only thing needed in Newtown now is space and time. Let them have it.

Excuse me but how can someone be pro-choice (a euphemism for favoring the killing of unborn babies) and then imply disapproval of killing unborn babies? And what the heck does race have to do with killing innocents?
Or did you mis-type?
platypus on December 19, 2012 at 2:12 PM
The exploitation of the deaths of innocents, the trauma of the survivors, the grief of the families, and the horror of the nation for ratings and profits by these mega-corporations has gone on for too long.
It is time for a rational discussion of reasonable media controls.
Do it for the children.

agmartin on December 19, 2012 at 2:14 PM
I agree. And the media believes they are “doing it for the children”. They need to get those harrowing stories out at all costs so that the “healing” begins. And while that “healing” process is taking place they will use every harrowing story as a back drop for their push on gun control. The media isn’t doing things out of ignorance these days. They know exactly what they are doing and what narrative they need to push to get the political outcome they desire. Do they really care about the victims and their families? Nope.
rsherwd65 on December 19, 2012 at 2:41 PM
The NY Daily News could use this mailed to their front desk about 20 billion times.
I’ve always known it was a rag, but they’re milking this one for all it’s worth.
