LOL! Obviously the numbers don’t work but still I support this plan by Boxer, not only can they protect the schools they can teach the children about freedom, serving ones country and patriotism. A great recruitment tool….

Well, an interim step would be to allow any teachers or other school staff who are also in the Guard to carry weapons on campus… right?

First question I’d ask as a reporter:

In the war zones in Iraq and Afghanistan, no effort was made nor policy contemplated for dis-arming the citizenry of what really are assault weapons (AK-47s, RPGs, etc..). Many of our finest children were killed with those weapons.

How does one square implementing private gun control laws inside the United States, but not in a combat zone?

Essentially, the US Government is now deciding how to disarm US citizens after determining that your average Iraqi and Afghani citizens are capable of owning their own weapons.

FU, Washington.

I know…I know!!…how about not overreacting to a horrible and violent anomaly by trying to figure out a way to stop something that is impossible to stop?

I would like to think that liberal insanity is not impossible to stop, but on the one hand, you have one single nutcase kill 27 people and the reaction is to strip everyone of their gun rights…and on the other hand you have a group of people who’s whole point of existence being to kill or convert everyone to their way of thinking. Those people have killed thousands, just in this country alone, but the liberal outrage level doesn’t even exist. In fact, you can’t even point out the violent and horrible acts this group of people perpetrate on the world at large without the liberals accusing you of being a bigot or a racist.
When this level of cognitive dissonance is accepted norm, I have little belief that insanity can be cured, it can only be fought.
