None of the individuals captured by photographer Francois Brunelle are related by blood, their faces just have strikingly similar characteristics.

They don’t look all that much alike to me.

I meet my doppelganger every damn day. Ugly sumbitch is is always washing his face, brushing his teeth or shaving in my bathroom.
I wish he’d clean the mirror & toilet while he’s at it.

Eh. Some of them look kind of alike, but much of it relies upon the human tendency to be swayed by hairstyle and facial expression. It’s more “cool, he matched up similar looking people” than it is “dude, separated twins.”

Ah, I see it now.
If you don’t actually look directly at their faces too much, they look nearly identical.
Uncanny!

They look similar but if you take away the tricks of similar clothes, glasses, hair, etc. There’s not much there.

The commenters here would be so much fun at a magic show.

Wow, and many people have the same birthday. (Wanted to post this at the article’s website but they’re “no longer accepting comments”.)
I wonder if it’s because so many people pointed out the inanity of this piece?

Well, I thought they looked alike, anyway.

Imagine being one of the women getting the photographer’s phone call. “We found your double!” Show up for the photo shoot. Your double is a dude.

Makeup, hairstyle, clothing, expression and pose all add to the illusion.

In the first picture, one guy has his hand on the other’s head to cover up how much wider his face is. And in bw photos you can do almost anything with makeup.
These kind of camera tricks have been obsolete since cgi was invented.
