As Secretary of State, Kerry would elevate climate issues
If Kerry becomes the next secretary of State, he will likely raise climate change to a top-tier priority.
“No senator since Al Gore knows as much about the science and diplomacy of climate change as Kerry,” said David Goldwyn, an international energy consultant who served as Clinton’s special envoy and coordinator for international energy affairs. “He would not only put climate change in the top five issues he raises with every country, but he would probably rethink our entire diplomatic approach to the issue.”
Kerry has been engaged with climate policy since he attended the first major U.N. climate summit in Rio de Janeiro in 1992. He was coauthor, along with Sens. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., and Joe Lieberman, ID-Conn., of sweeping legislation that would have capped U.S. emissions of greenhouse gases, although the bill fell apart before making it to the Senate floor. In 2007 he and his wife, Teresa Heinz Kerry, coauthored a book, This Moment on Earth: Today’s New Environmentalists and Their Vision for the Future…
“Kerry’s been one of the most active champions on the Arctic. He’s out there saying, ‘The Arctic ice is melting, we’ve got to do something,’ ” said Charles Ebinger, director of the Foreign Policy and Energy Security Initiative at the Brookings Institution.

Do they really want to go there? Usually con artists want to let their con slip away once people start to catch on.

Yeah – we know. On top of being a traitor, Kerry is an enviro-loon.

Will he set an example by having Teresa give up her private jet? SUV’s?

Laws are for the peasants dontcha know? Super-de-dooper self-important people like Kerry need the power to save us…

Great.

I’m ok with this, because the more people hear about how much gas/electricity prices need to rise for the greenies’ pet projects, the better.
thebrokenrattle on December 16, 2012 at 11:08 AM
Great, I look forward to Kerry’s explanation as to just why he needs 6 houses that all require massive amounts of energy to heat and cool.

The first thing Mr Kerry will do will set up the wind farm in Cape Cod. He was for it before he was against. What, you say John still doesn’t want his view of the ocean showing windmills that the rest of us should suffer. Climate Change for me but not for thee.

America desperately needs to re-assert it’s presence on the global stage. There is no one better placed to do this than a traitor with a major in Blow Hard and a minor in Enviro-terrorism.
In truth he’s no different from Rice. He’s just going to dress up his statism in enviro-fantasy rather than deploy the usual social justice lies. Or maybe he’ll do both. Whatever.
All we need is Bill Ayers as SecDef now.

Kerry will only lower the bar for every thing.
As a known life long liar and fraud together with his on the record aid to a the NVA / VC gives Kerry the high mark of a traitor to the U.S.A. and all of U. S..
Notwithstanding his back stabing coward ass crap about real men of honor in Vietnam being baby killers, when he in fact replaces a Sec. of State who worked hand in hand with this Pres. B. Obama to deliver thousands of guns into the hands of drug cartel killers who used them to kill hunders of Mexican and South American children.
As fakes go, his the best of all thus the first choice of a fake President.

What a bumbling blowhard

I hope he spends ALL his time on this. Let him pontificate to foreigners for four years instead of us. He will be out of the Senate. Win/Win

Yacht-tax dodging Lurch would also elevate cowardice.
Never forget that Hanoi John Kerry apparently had to go for the award them to yourself Purple Hearts approach when he realized he’d quickly be scooted back to the states and kicked out before the serious personnel in ‘Nam focused on things like doing the mission and, if possible, staying in one piece fragged him.

That U.N. climate panel just released a report the other day in which they were forced to admit that solar activity plays a far greater role in climate warming than previously acknowledged by the climate alarmists’ models.
Over and over again these people are proved wrong, yet still they demand that we re-order our entire world to accommodate their hysterical predictions of doom. Lunacy.

John Kerry, AKA The Worthless Tw@t, will also raise the profile of horseface issues as well. And the back end of horse issues too….
ScottG on December 16, 2012 at 11:27 AM
Shouldn’t Kerry instead become the Climate Change Czar or something?
Duties of the Secretary of State: Primarily, “carries out the President’s foreign policies through the State Department and the Foreign Service of the United States.”
Maybe Kerry can appoint Gore as our Ambassador to Climatesville? [Or does Gore still preserve enough self-preservation to decline in hopes of maintaining a certain, uhm ... presumed virginity of his (an as-of-yet-unviolated-and-unreleased-chakra), as well as his life?]
Oh, I think a certain former junior Senator and subsequent Messiah might disagree … certainly, at least, in his own mind.
Does this mean Obama is pushing the Reset button four years hence and we will look back upon this historic moment as the point where “This was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal?”
LOL. You just can’t make this crap up …

Unfortunately,to the superrich dems, this seems to be a fetish. Be it Al Gore or John Kerry. Come on guys, do a Bill Clinton (intern and all). Thats more acceptable, and cheaper for the nation.
