NBC
Survey: The best company to work for is…
That’s according to Glassdoor.com, the website where employees rate their own companies. For the second time in three years, Facebook has come out on top, with a 4.7 rating on a scale of one to five, meaning workers are generally “very satisfied.” …
“Wall Street dared to doubt Facebook, and Zuckerberg has turned it into an internal rallying cry,” said Glassdoor co-founder and CEO Robert Hohman. “People have more faith in him than they did a year ago.”
Hohman says Zuckerberg’s approval rating has grown from 90 percent in 2011 to 99 percent now, putting him in a rare club that once included Steve Jobs.

Something about the fact that someone as notoriously petulant as Mark Zuckerberg scoring a 99% approval rating in the survey makes me think that Glassdoor’s “honor system” of verifying that its surveys are completed by actual employees may be flawed. Along the lines of Obimbo receiving 100% of the vote in thousands of precincts or Saddam winning re-election with 100% of the ballots.

I would disagree. Of all the companies I have worked for, ‘Self-Employed’ seems to be the best.
‘Retired’ is second best.

I’m disappointed in NBC. I thought for sure they’d say the govt.

Y’know, not that it’s under AP’s control… but the headline itself kinda falls flat when the URL contains the answer.

The survey is rigged so this is a non-story. Moving on………..

Facebook rigged Glassdoor.com?
It’s a great site, btw. People write up their interview experiences with companies. Helped me prepare for a very difficult interview I had.

I wonder if Facebook employees get reprimanded for spending too much time on Facebook at work…

I’m glad their employees are so satisfied, since customer satisfaction certainly isn’t a priority for them.

Wait a minnit. My company trumpets how they’re one of the best rated companies to work for, but they’re not even on the list! Maybe they’re lying????

Gee, ya THINK?
I couldn’t believe how much corporate “we’re the best” chestthumping propaganda I had to swallow just to get hired as a seasonal worker. I’m really starting to understand the Dilbert cartoons in a new way.
