“It was my brother. I think my mother is dead. Oh my God.”
Lanza told his boss that: ‘I need to go.’ Then he walked out from Times Square office of the tax real-estate group, according to a co-worker who spoke to MailOnline on condition of anonymity.
Thirty minutes later, New York cops stormed in the office…
Brett Wilshe, a friend of Ryan Lanza’s, told the AP that he sent Ryan a Facebook message Friday asking what was going on and if he was alright.
According to Wilshe, Lanza’s reply was something along the lines of: ‘It was my brother. I think my mother is dead. Oh my God.’

I feel sorry for the remaining family, its obvious they are normal folk.

Another mess from the media tripping over themselves trying to be first with something. Didn’t help when his face got plastered across every 24/7 news screen without any verification that it was the real Ryan Lanza. Ugh.

The DM also posted a couple of other photos claiming it was Adam.

My heart goes out to this man and the horror he’s going through, made worse by the vultures who put his name out in public in their quest to be first with a sensational headline.
Ugh! I hate journalists.

Why did they need to handcuff the brother? So much heartache.

I feel so sorry for this man. He had his mom killed, his brother killed 26 people and himself, he was said to be the one who did this and I would imagine that even he will get death threats for having no involvement?
I am sure we will find out sometime if he knew there was a problem with his brother, but now he is grieving as all the others who had family members killed by his brother.
My heart and prayers goes out to each and everyone of them.

Hearing death of a relative is bad enough, multiple close relatives and in this manner? Can’t imagine how terrible he felt.

What is up with the story claiming the shooter was developmentally disabled?

I thought that was outrageous. If they had done that to one of the other victims’ relatives.

It’s not as if they have any credibility to lose…
